I personally have enjoyed this game. It's good fun with friends. It's sad that it hasn't sold well, because deserves more attention.

Mayan Death robots is a small game with a great sense of humour. In itself it's a fast packed action game, in the style of Worms, but with some unique features to make it worth your while. Controls are extremely easy (you can teach it to your 8-year old in under a minute) and then it's just "blast away". Single player mode in this version is extended and if you don't have any friends nearby (it happens..) then you can just as well play the campaign mode on your own. To be honest, I didn't try the 'shared local multiplayer' yet, but I guess it is really fun at parties. I find myself playing it from time to time on the train, to 'put off any worries' and have a good laugh.
Прекрасная кооп игра.

This game never goes on sale (the developer folded and there is no publisher), so the $7 price tag is final. Total campaign time was about 4.5 hours. You can play the campaign through with a friend, but other than the boss battles it's a long series of vs matches with various mutators. The closest comparison I can draw to this game is Worms. However, you only control one unit and turns occur simultaneously while map effects are in real time. What's very novel is that every turn you earn a tetromino, and you can spend an action to place any quantity of stockpiled tetrominos up to the maximum of 5. These tetrominos do obey gravity, but only if you cannot place them adjacent to other terrain. As a result, there is a lot of tactical variation depending on who your opponent is playing, where you can place land to block them in and force them to take damage from their own attacks, or otherwise make life difficult for them. Moving is only accomplished by jumping, so basic inconveniences like a slightly high wall can often turn the tide of a match if placed at the right time. The game has a very basic plot surrounding an interstellar television show, and the soundtrack isn't particularly memorable. However, the soundbytes for the mayans and spaniards are highly memorable, and there are a lot of very entertaining mutators. It's not a very good game to achievement hunt due to a handful of achievements which are reliant on mutators and luck, and one achievement which will require 10+ hours of grind unless you reach it naturally (kill 9001 mayans). This is a great game for if you only have one person over and you want to pass half an hour or so. At only $7 it's an excellent choice for a casual couch game.
