I really like the concept of the game, and a lot of its mechanics. However a few down sides, which I think are mainly bound to it still being beta. Fields tend to be heavily ineffecient. Specifically in harvest season, if you dont add priorities to your fields your farmer will flock all over the place, especially a disaster if you have fields all over the map. I would also increase their overal yield, or allow later game to have some sort of fertilizer upgrade. Secondly trade, I do like the idea of regional wealth etc, however the 5 to 10 fold exchange rate between buying and selling... is a bit much. It can drain your regional wealth quickly if you become reliant on imports. Also the value between raw produce and finished goods isn't represented this way either. I get that the concept was that you need to conquer and produce everythign yourself. But it closes down a direction of becoming a e.g. production town that imports its raw materials and sells finished goods. As such I think trading could use some balancing. Lastly the combat system, it is okay but the fact your manor gates remain open for th enemy, suprised me lol. But all in all, I know I listed a lot of down sides, There is a lot of fun in this game, and it is still actively being developed so I am sure there will be a lot of improvements of the few harder parts
if you like building kingdoms then this is the game
bit unpolished but very good regardless.
You get to build little houses and because the one dude took too long chopping wood you can build more houses around his little house and tell those houses to keep pigs. goats and chickens. If that doesn't motivate the 1st dude to leave his house more and go chop wood then I don't know what will...
Pretty good, Decent updates but they do take quite a while to come out so there is a big gap between them
Great Game
