Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

// PATIENT CRITICAL
Most of the time, patients land on your table when it is already too late. All you can do is to determine, how they died.
There are rare case, where you can intervene. Where you get the chance to prevent one more meaningful meaningless death.
In those cases, you have to pull out all the stops to keep your patients breathing.
Administer drugs to manipulate stabilise vital function
Deploy the defibrillator to hopefully restore cardiac activity
Use mission specific tools like the surgical laser where authorised
// PATIENT STABILISED
Diagnose their condition using a suite of medical systems:

// NEW QUERY UNLOCKED
The objective-driven investigation system guides you through diagnosis, emergency procedures, and the many autopsies you will perform.
Answer the queries asked of you by medical staff, patients, and third parties calling into the operating room.

Clunky and confusing at times but the experience is exceedingly unique and well-worth a shot! Especially for the atmosphere, setting and voicework. The vibes are immaculate. With some touches of contextual refinement and better retry functionality I believe it could be one of the best medical-centric indie horrors of all time, even for the more picky palate!
This game has a LOT of promise. I'm giving a good review as a deposit into the future of this game and this studio. It's great and runs smooth, but will need a few updates.
Throwing up a positive review so far just from the introduction. I really do appreciate just being thrown to the wolves as a...surgery robot? I have no idea what's going on, I feel awful, but I want to keep going. --- Edit: After clearing my save to try again because I'm pretty sure I was stuck the game fake bluescreens but then actually really bugs out and goes black. This game needs a lot more time in the oven. Devs need to work out the bugs, of which there are plenty. Probably from that dang
pineapple
. I don't know why they thought it was ready for release. Sorry folks. I'll come update this later after the game is fully playable.

Great Thinking-/PuzzleGame. As a Standalone Title for this Price, i would recommend. If they release even more Content over time, its even better. Keep up the good work, Sunscorched Studios
Runs smoothly with a clear updated tutorial. It is a captivating sci-fi medical horror with an incredible attention to detail. The graphics and mechanics are truly amazing, I loved the laser!
I want to give a positive review. Im intrigued with the story and want to see how it continues. But as of right now im stuck in the radiation level. A bug seems to prevent this level from ending and im stuck with no queries to solve. Please fix as i cannot continue the game. I want to change my review to positive. Edit: I switched the review to positive, just because i love the idea of the game. It feels distopian and i never saw this kind of idea implemented in a game. But it definetly needs some work. It is about 5 hours of playtime (if you take your time) and rather feels like a promising demo. I hope the devs continuing the work and expand the product and hammer out the bugs. But just for the experience to be an evil OP Robot it was worth trying it out
I may not have played the game in full, there's content in a screenshot I just haven't found. Though, the whole thing plays fairly linearly all the same. It doesn't feel incomplete, but feels pretty cut short. You don't really do any surgery, it's more investigation than anything. There are a lot of mechanics that seem like they haven't been utilized. I'm hoping it gets more time to be developed, more operations are added, something. It's good even as-is, but doesn't do as much with the premise as advertising promises. Pretty confident there ARE multiple endings, but seeing one ending starts the game from the beginning.
the atmosphere and graphics are great - lots of detective work which i like - its my kind of game -👍
(Edit) Hello, the game is really fun, but it's clearly unfinished. The bugs… they're everywhere. I scan hands and the game scans faces; I scan thighs and the game scans fingers. I had to restart several games because of this annoying bug, and of course, quitting the game mid-way forces you to start all over again from the beginning of the chapter. This wouldn't have bothered me if the next bug hadn't ruined the experience… The links… as many have already mentioned, the links need work. A multi-link system is needed because several symptoms and causes could be linked together. The scan glitches on some patients, making the process frustrating because you can't unlock a necessary link to complete the current procedure (seriously, stop using the word "procedure," what we're doing is much more like a simple consultation). You can miss an important element, which prevents the links from appearing and connecting. Furthermore, some seemingly obvious links are impossible to connect (nicotine and lungs, it seems obvious but it doesn't work, or hypothermia and frostbite, that doesn't work either). Far too scripted… I played to the end… you could have made an effort and added subtitles for the final scene, which is almost 15 minutes of crucial dialogue for understanding the ending. And speaking of the ending, what's with this entity that talks like Bumblebee? The final scene is incomprehensible because of it. You've given your game a supernatural aspect that I don't understand. The idea is there, but it's poorly executed in my opinion. Finally, the number of patients is ridiculous. On a ship with 5,000 passengers, barely ten are treated. Furthermore, half of the SPIDER's tools are useless and inaccessible. The only time I used all the tools was in the short tutorial; the scalpel is impossible to use except for the final operation, which, of course, ends very badly... I feel like I'm only playing half of the base game's content. The plot is incomplete with this completely absurd entity. It's as if I paid to play a buggy demo. I regret the 12 hours spent fighting bugs; I should have asked for a refund. In short, at this stage, MALPRAXIS is just basic consultations without any surgery, scans, links, or conclusions. That's what this game boils down to... Our choices don't really have an impact because there's only one ending, and the only time we hear about the supernatural entity is on the Steam store page. For the price I paid, I expect major updates to the links and scans. I want to be able to use all of SPIDER's tools. I want at least a hundred patients with different symptoms and pathologies. I want a coherent supernatural entity. I want well-calibrated subtitles. I want to feel like I'm playing a real game, not a demo prototype.
