Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great concept, I can't think of anything else like it being a neutral third party changing the outcome of different battles., almost more of a puzzle game than anything else. I'm finding it quite difficult, but am slowly making progress. I doubt I'll finish it, but if you like strategy and puzzles, it might be worth it.
the game is a great war sim and brings a lot of fun figuring out strategy's to beat the game!
Interesting take on combat, where you are not one of two groups fighting but instead an additional side that affects the result by placing it's units the right way. Here is my overview of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFNPoGlEogY

i love it it's so fun for me because i like to think and play smart so this is a good game for me
游戏好玩吗?好玩 为什么差评? 关卡设计啊,就跟和老八与梁非凡吃过晚餐一样
Make War is a somewhat unusual game. While it appears to be an RTS, it certainly isn't, it's more like a tower defense. You're presented with a static battlefield, the battle will resolve itself automatically, you have no control over the troops. But you can pause the game and put down "towers", not actually towers, but soldiers or mines or other traps to influence the flow of the battle. So it has more in common with a mobile app tower defense than a real PC game. There's also the problem of the comically horrible Engrish they used... it's like Google Translate had a stroke. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon voxel "Minecraft"-like "art", making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. A lot of amateur developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. It also happens to be easy, and doesn't need any proper talent in terms of game development/graphic artists etc. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes this is a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Make War has the utterly unrealistic price of $10 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games, let alone the sheer number of free games available on Steam. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.
