Mad Tracks

If you’re thinking about buying this game, stop thinking and just get it. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played, and I’ve spent hundreds, if not thousands, of hours on it. I first played it as a kid on an old computer nearly 20 years ago. Unfortunately, I lost the account I used back then, so my current playtime doesn’t even come close to showing how many hours I’ve actually put into this game. It might seem a little boring when you play alone, but with friends, it never gets old. I know every map by heart and could probably drive through them with my eyes closed. The most fun I ever had was playing split-screen, setting the maximum number of bots, choosing the fastest cars, and loading up the Titanic map. Those matches were absolute chaos in the best possible way. The only downside is that the game is no longer receiving updates.

I think the next need for speed game will also have rpg weapons but I just can't prove it yet

An okay racing game

THe game is small but it has some challanges that deliver better than newer car game titles. There are a lot of interesting concepts in the game, alongside the usual timed races and I really enjoy it. The music is really good! A new track per level is really something big but it helps when the track is specified to the environment, at least through the feeling it brings. I haven't played much yet and I don't have people to try multiplayer with but still, this game rocks! 8.5/10

Mad Track is an enjoyable little racer, with cute and creative courses, game modes and more! The soundtrack mirror the experience well, and is often times quite fun! I found some to actually be rather remarkable, with great breakbeat (along with various other funky and unique) influences. My largest complaint is quite small, I just wish there was one continuous way to transition between courses, a randomizer for the arcade mode perhaps. Other than the aforementioned small pacing issues, I experienced bugs where the achievements wouldn't work, which was a bit frustrating at times when I would complete them. However compulsion to 100% or not I quite enjoyed playing through this, and would recommend to any who seek to play a charming and challenging game!
