I bought it, played it, and returned it out of progression frustration. Then I bought it again, passed it (with a little YT help), and loved it. It's basically Stanley Parable with a dark psychological horror twist (same narrator too, I think). And it's a constant newly crafted experience all the way through, which is hard to find these days.
Going to preface this with 'play with a guide'. Many of the puzzles are nnnnnot the best and very obtuse. I really wish it had been more of a walking sim/story telling device. But the story is pretty good! It can be deeply moody and for those suffering with dark thoughts can hit home at times. It also had some very surprising visual styles that got me off guard. A interesting game, overall.
