There will be mining, fishing, animal catching, and other things to enjoy. And in Multiplayer you are not tied to your Host’s location, you are free to play your way, even in their game. You can be the team’s miner, searching for the best ores, and trade them to your friends for their precious GOLD!

Save the towns people and use gathered resources to help them rebuild to their former glory.
The Blacksmith, Armorer, Arcanist and Chef can level up as well, granting the ability to sell and craft better equipment

Centuries ago, a primal magic surged from the earth's depths, fueling empires but twisting it's inhabitant and the world into corruption's grasp. Forests blackened, skies bled shadow, and rivers turned to poison.
But a less prevalent radiant energy was also born, and hidden within pure warriors, the Luminaries. Armed with the light, their goal is to reclaim the land, hurling back the blight.
Yet the Luminary's gift is double-edged, immortality that tempts the soul. Every 80 years, Luminaries must yield their light to a successor, or risk eternal decay. Defiant ones hoard it, swelling into godlike tyrants of darkness, the Ebonarchs
As a new Luminary, rise in power. Shatter the Ebonarch's abyssal power source to strip their immortality, and strike them down. Together with your fellow Luminaries, push back the Darkness with Light.

The fighting is fun nice form with the sword. But also there is not that many Bad guys to fight though. It is quick excitement then the combat is over and you run and run and run to the next spot. It is pretty short I played 6hrs and it was over. The game is looks good it just needs more combat. The running simulator portion is a little bit of a let down. I do like the fact you can TP to the towers though. I think the game will mold into something great it just needs a little more time.
The support is absolutely fantastic, and the game is great. Best regards—the developer really stands behind his project and is a very likable guy. Warm greetings from the Alpine region. The best game in years. I like the two guys behind this project.

Awesome game, enjoying it very much, love that after 3 days you have already made an update and hotfix. Looking forward to playing while you grow no matter the bumps in the road. If you haven't tried Luminary - you should :)
Engaging in an early access title inherently involves experiencing some technical rough edges and bugs; otherwise, the project would already be in a fully launched state, so I won't go into them too much, as they could change by the time you even read this. Instead, I will pro actively report thus improve said rough edges through the correct channels as this game continues to develop. However, it is already evident that both the development team and the player community are deeply invested in the project's success. This is certainly a journey worth following, and I am fully on board to see how it evolves!
Ну нет нафиг. Ожидал гораздо большего.Как можно сделать игру без хотбара на цифры.Карта это вообще нечто.У дерева с зажатой F надо минут 40 стоять-зачем блин.Таргет который прыгает туда сюда тоже супер.
This is a new game that has adventure! Can't wait to see more of this in the future! Runs great for me with my hardware. Being a small project, this has great bones.
Like many other players are saying, I think this game has great potential and what we have now is fun and very playable, if light on content. But the 2-person dev team has been very upfront about that. The game world is quite beautiful and runs well for me (I do have a pretty decent PC). The game already features nice-to-have options like widescreen and HDR support, things that many bigger titles don't see fit to implement. From watching some of the devs' videos, their stated goal is to create an easy-to-pick up game that even non-gamers can enjoy. And I feel they are on the right track. The UI can use some work, I have an OLED monitor and the background of the inventory and skills screen is super dark. I also feel the combat animations are a bit too fast, almost frantic. It's very difficult to hit anything with a bow, as the little goblin enemies waddle and bounce around quite a bit. I think some aim assist would help here, especially if the goal is to attract new players to this type of game. The little goblins also hit pretty hard and always in groups. I can tell you that someone like my wife would not enjoy the combat in its current state. I managed OK, but you basically need to dodge a ton and spam healing potions, which are thankfully plentiful. I definitely recommend Luminary, but only if you are prepared to play in a super early state of development. As the work of a 2-person team, the game is something to be applauded, and I look forward to seeing how it develops.
The bones of the game are there. The combat feels fine and responsive for the most part, as i progressed i had issues with the two larger swords not wanting to go into combo and just doing a single swing (odd), the dodging is on point and thats coming from an Elden Lord. obviously it being alpha there is plenty of polishing to be done. i would look forward to having a patch with a boss to see how enjoyable it will be. All in all, i think judging from its base, it can have some promise to it.
I bought Luminary after playing the demo, and honestly, this is the first game in quite a while that has made me think: THIS is what I’ve been looking for. First: this is Early Access. Very early Early Access, made by a team of TWO people. If you’re looking for a finished, content-complete game right now, this obviously isn’t it. There are bugs, rough edges and systems that still need to grow. But the foundation is fantastic. What I love most is that Luminary so far manages to give me progression without turning everything into homework. Use a sword? You get better at using a sword. Use a bow? You improve that. Character skill points? Health, stamina, melee, ranged, magic. I can understand what I’m doing without studying a build guide or navigating a gigantic skill tree. Then there is the town. I LOVE the idea of helping rebuild and strengthen a town without having to personally place every wall, roof and crafting station. I get to explore, fight, gather resources and help people, and the town progresses because of what I accomplish. Please keep developing this! There are already enough games where I need a second career as an architect. 😁 Exploration immediately hooked me. I found chests, coins, goblins, equipment, animals and places that made me go “what’s over THERE?” I went swimming and diving, climbed around and used the glider. I kept finding another reason to go just a little farther. And then another chest. And another goblin. It was almost 4 AM before I managed to quit. The world is also genuinely beautiful. It gives me a little of that old feeling I get from exploring a fantasy world like ESO: not because the games are the same, but because I actually WANT to wander off and see what’s around the next corner. Combat so far feels accessible rather than needlessly complicated. Sword and shield felt great, I can pull out a bow when I want it, and magic is there if I decide to use it. I really hope the developers preserve that philosophy as the game grows: add depth through more things to discover and do, not by making the systems unnecessarily complicated. More places. More enemies. More equipment. More town progression. More activities. More secrets. And please, more animals. There is a pig with a little shelter and I have become emotionally invested in whether I will eventually be able to keep it. This is apparently important now. 🐷 I am actually considering putting Luminary aside for a while after buying it—not because I don’t want to play it, but because I REALLY do. I want to let it grow so that I can experience more of it when the world and systems have developed further. I bought it now because I played the demo, saw the foundation, and wanted to support the developers while they build the rest. Matt and Keith: you have something really promising here. Please keep going. And please don’t make it complicated just because RPGs are apparently supposed to be complicated. Some of us just want to explore a beautiful fantasy world, open chests, kill goblins, improve by actually doing things, help a town grow… …and possibly acquire a pig.
