Lots of good things and some bad things. I really enjoy the world of Lobotomy Corporation and this is my first Project Moon game so I'm excited to learn more about the Project Moon-Verse. I'll start by saying the price is definitely a bit steep. This looks like, plays like, and is an old game. I'm actually surprised it's only as old as 2018 because the gameplay is reaaaaaally simple. There are some somewhat interesting nuanced things, but the majority of the time you'll be standing idly by while your agents collect energy. I actually got so bored that I installed a mod that increases game speed up to 10x. I genuinely think this game is unplayable without this mod especially past day 30 when the days really seem to drag on. In addition, later days can be very punishing. One wrong move can send literally hours of playtime crashing down to a day reset or memory reset. There is a lot of luck and RNG involved but you can also choose to take less risk which feels strangely fair. In that sense you are your own enemy. Overall I enjoy Lobotomy Corporation and would rate it maybe a 7/10. Gameplay is lacking but can be fun sometimes with breaches. Other times suppressing small abnormalities feels like a chore. The main draw to play Lob Corp seems to be the overarching story within the Project Moon Verse and the sense of wonder/excitement to discover new abnormalities. I love SCP so this is kinda like that. There aren't any really good SCP games, but I imagine a good one would look something like this.
