When I was younger I saw the demo of this game on Xbox Gamepass. For some reason I decided to completely ignore that is said demo and still did not know what it meant. I played it and was so confused on why I was stuck on one part. A while ago I was looking for new games to play and was so excited to try this out since I remember loving it so much back then. It's a great game and the art style is sooo pretty! Definitely recommend!

Little witch in the woods is a cozy life sim in wich our protagnist, Ellie, must get through her apprenticeship as a young witch. Facing some transportationissues and demotivation toward her curriculum, she ends up in a cute lil cabin near a local village. The player gets to explore the open world and its secrets, ride a brooom, brew potions and candy and build relationships with the townfolk. I can wamly recommend this game to anyone looking for a cozy experience similar to stardew valley or tavern keeper with alot of humor and magic sprincled in

I've had this game since very early access and it's come a loooong way. I find it very cute. The music is relaxing and it's fun, and although I would recommend it, there are some things I'm really not a fan of when it comes to this game. The default controls drove me nuts, I'm so glad they changed it so you could adjust the controller settings yourself. I SO wish you could use your mouse in this game, it really bothers me that you're stuck using only your keyboard. The BIGGEST issue I have is that there is WAY too much dialogue. You can only "skip" it if you've heard it before and even then it just fast forwards the dialogue. It's the reason why I can't play this game for very long, the excessive dialogue annoys the heck out of me. I wish they could reduce it or add a setting where you can skip dialogue instantly and if you need an explination of the task again, you can just prompt the character for the dialogue. I spend most of my time in this game hitting the prompt key to make the dialogue go as fast as it possibly can. If the devs are reading this, PLEASE I BEG OF YOU, reduce the dialogue or create a setting where I can instantly skip it. This may be an issue with my computer (I don't actually know) but transitioning between rooms or areas is SO SLOW. I really wish you could make the day or night last longer. Especially when you get to the other areas, it takes forever to get from place to place and even home and it's like that for a looooong time. Love the music and the graphics and the art, the game is wonderful and is a labour of love for sure. Would recommend it to people who enjoy cozy games where there is a grind. Really wish the dialogue wasn't insanely excessive, it would be so much more enjoyable because I could focus on playing the game and not skipping through chats.
