About
A new legend begins as you step into the steel toe boots of Goro Majima, a man who has lost his memory and reinvents himself as a pirate on the open sea.
Embark on an over-the-top, modern-day pirate adventure with an ex-yakuza, now pirate captain and his crew as they engage in exhilarating combat on land and sea in the hunt for lost memories and a legendary treasure.
Goro Majima, a notorious ex-yakuza suddenly finds himself shipwrecked on a remote island in the Pacific. Unable to remember even his own name, he sets sail in search of clues to his lost memories, accompanied by a boy named Noah who saved his life. Before long, they’re caught up in a conflict between cutthroat criminals, modern-day pirates, and other scoundrels over a legendary treasure.
Assemble a one-of-a-kind crew while upgrading your ship as you explore the open sea and forge your legend in the cannon fire of foes, unexpected friendships, and immense riches made along the way.
When an enemy pirate ship catches you in their sights, an exhilarating real-time cannon battle breaks out. Quickly maneuver into position while avoiding fire, then deliver devastating damage to board the enemy ship and take down the captain in all-out crew vs. crew brawls. Conquer the seas, discover hidden islands and acquire loads of loot like a true yakuza pirate!
Dynamically switch between the “Mad Dog” and “Sea Dog” fighting styles to mix-up attacks and deliver explosive combos, juggles, and aerial takedowns that reward your creativity with over-the-top action.
With “Mad Dog” style, utilize speed, agility, and flair to deliver precise yet powerful blows that stun your enemies into submission.
Or make enemies walk the plank with the “Sea Dog” style that has you dual-wielding short swords and deploying tricky pirate tools to kick some serious booty.

Reviews
This game has disapointed me in many ways. Yeah let's make the 60 year old do DMC combos and forget his memory and spawn in multiple versions of himself! This game is a joke as this and kiwami 3 have been the fall offs of such a great series. Canon too btw.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Where is the fun ?
A beautiful game, fun to play, with some absolutely insane side quests just like Yakuza teaches us, and a story filled with incredibly well-executed moments. The Mad Dog of Shimano at his absolute peak. Goro Majima is the uncle we all wish we had. Goro maruuuuu GO!
la saga like a dragon no decepciona nunca y goro majima es uno de los mejores personajes que hay, si unes todo eso te sale este juego que, como todo buen like a dragon, te dara horas de diversion con todo el contenido extra que tiene y te tocara el corazon con la historia.

I truly enjoyed myself playing Pirate Yakuza. It's my second yakuza game I've played (First being Yakuza like a dragon) And the first one I've not only beat but I also went and 100% the game. The combat was pretty fun and enjoyable and I had fun with the various charaters.

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a perfectly fine RGG title in the series. What the Yakuza/Like A Dragon/Lost Judgement series has refined over the years is here: good beat 'em up action, mini-games, side quests and characters. Although, if someone has played Infinite Wealth, many of the mini-games are basically the same. The story has yet to really grab me unlike any of the other RGG games. Sure, this is Majima's first solo game, but it really doesn't seem like the Goro of the rest of the series. With good story reason, sure. I also don't know if I like the whole pirate element. Even the best of the RGG games have a lot of just moving from place to place. Adding a pirate ship just adds the less interesting just going from place to place once the shine has worn off. Honolulu is a pretty big area on its own, the pirate locals are especially big. However, even with fast travel, there is a fair amount of sitting in load times. The ship-to-ship combat is probably pretty good, but not something I find myself interested in doing much. Whether on the high seas or in the arena. That could just be a personal player preferene. I am all about the arcade and Master System games. The arcade games are good, but not the best of Sega put in a single game. I know number of players are probably sick of seeing Fantasy Zone, Outrun, Hang On, etc. I personally like seeing them in the RGG games. If for no other reason but to give the arcades of feeling like more than what movie theaters lobbies have. The Master System has a decent collection of games, but you'd probably have to be someone that grew up in the 8-bit era like me to really enjoy them. Still, I am so glad they are and available is several places in world. Sometimes I boot up these games just to place the video games inside, but I'm not interested in traveling all over the place to play them. All-in-all, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is serviceable game for people that just want more of what RGG does. Just don't expect a ton added from their last few games. A lot is recycled. Which I kind of like. As long as the recycled stuff was fun and any rough spots they had get some honing. But if you are looking for an evolution in the RGG formula, you won't find it here.
