Lies of P is a thrilling soulslike that takes the story of Pinocchio, turns it on its head, and sets it against the darkly elegant backdrop of the Belle Epoque era.

que haces viendo negativas compralo
At 7 hours in, 30% through the game, there is no real plot to speak of (robots went crazy, there has been no further exposition, the explanation is literally "nobody knows why") and there has been a single dialogue choice which is not actually a choice, because you can't progress if you don't lie. The level design is basically flat, with any verticality feeling more like an excuse than solid design. Levels are quite linear with the occasional looping passage or side path leading to treasure. There are no secrets to speak of and do not feel original at all. The world is not interconnected in any way that you might think from playing FromSoft games, and maybe I'm going blind, but in-game the levels look quite drab compared to the selected screenshots shown on the store page. If you read all of the other reviews, they are mostly glowing about the level design and story. Both of these points are fairly weak - perhaps if this is one of the few video games you've played, you would be impressed, but i was not. Everything else is mostly taken straight out of Souls. It adds very few new systems that are not present in DS, and those it does add are fairly shallow. Boss patterns are fairly simple and rely on unblockable attacks to add challenge. There is nowhere near the weapon diversity and depth to the action as something like Nioh. Enemies pop out of little side passages on a very frequent basis. There is a single currency, which doesn't even make sense in the context of the game world. Basically, if you loved Dark Souls and want more of the same, this is fine. If you desire something even a little bit different, you will be disappointed. If you've read this far, let me give you a little treat that exemplifies why this game is simply copying someone else's homework without understanding it. The entire point of P is that he can *lie*. Automotons cannot. This is defined by the Grand Covenant, a set of laws meant to resemble Aasimov's laws of robotics - two of these four are the same, "robots cant hurt humans", the first is "robots must obey", and the fourth is "robots cant lie". Okay, but all the robots went crazy and broke the first three laws as a matter of course. Why can malfunctioning robots that are okay with human slaughter not tell a lie? It makes no sense that the entire cornerstone of the game's plot is essentially thrown out of the window when it defines the covenant. Maybe this was just a dumb oversight. Maybe it explains this in detail much further. The first 7 hours were not compelling enough in either story nor gameplay to get me to continue to find the answer to this question. In summation, skip this if you want something different. If you want a reskinned Dark Souls, its probably 100% for you.
Probably the best soulslike aside from the FromSoft titles, and even including some FromSoft Titles. Extremely well made in every respect, very little about the game felt unfair but it was consistently challenging throughout.
mid, dark souls 2 is better than this
More like Lies of Peak Best almost-Bloodborne game I ever played and 100% best Soulslike outside From games. Not perfect but exceptionally solid in every aspect.
Me encantó.
its ok
