Didn't see the AI disclosure when I bought it. Would not have bought it, wish I had noticed while I could still refund it.
boring game, didn’t realize it was AI or i never would’ve bought it. removing it from my account so i don’t even have to look at it
I liked the concept of this game, but I wasn't aware the game uses Generative AI. Making the paintings on the walls with Gen AI is not "supportive work". Thankfully I'm just under the refund mark and should get my money back. Would not recommend if you have standards.
I liked this game, until I found out it was Gen AI.
I really loved the gameplay and the obsessive rhythmic loop you can get into with this game, but I cannot recommend this game as long as it used AI for any part of its creation. Extremely disappointing as it for sure did not need it! Makes me feel like the developers can't trust their own abilities or players.
I'm genuinely really sad to be writing this review in this fashion. This game was everything my AuDHD heart desired. I LOVE this game, as evidenced by the fact I've already got well over 40 hours in it. But I missed the AI disclosure and had I seen it, I would NOT have gotten it. It's heartbreaking as an artist to see other creators relying on the use of GenAI when it does so much damage to other creatives and the environment both. It's unethical, it's actively *harmful* and it should not have been used at any point in the process to create this game. This game was perfect but for that, and I'm genuinely upset one of my new favorite games is one I can't ethically play anymore.
I love sorting games like this, they are so much fun for me and tickle my brain in just the right way. HOWEVER, I do not recommend this game due to their use of AI, humans have been making video games for humans for the past 40 years- there's no need to bring a fake intelligence into the equation.
It's too late for me to get a refund. But this games uses AI for the most pointless reasons (entirely on me I should have checked). Grammar? Just pay someone to do it, if its that important. The artwork on the walls?!?! Find some free asset (there's so many if you look) if you refuse to pay for it.
Previously undisclosed AI.
I have to say, I really enjoyed my time with this game, it was incredibly relaxing and exactly what I needed after a really trying week. Unfortunately, I picked it up before the AI usage disclosure was released (or maybe I just didn't notice, which is on me) and I wouldn't have purchased the game had I known there was any generative AI in its development. I did really enjoy the experience, but I can't in good conscience recommend it.
