As a huge Lord of the Rings fan, I really enjoyed the experience. The use of voice lines from the film are to the games advantage and disadvantage as you get a more accurate depiction of the films with the cost of very little to none jokes during the cutscenes. The 100% journey I'd say is somewhat worth it, though it is made up of heaps and heaps of fetch quests. This is the only LEGO game I have fully finished, and it feels somewhat satisfying for it to be this one. My only major gripe is that there were a few stutters and crashes here and there, but it is quite old, so it doesn't really bring down how I feel about the game itself. Great on sale!
Honestly more fun than expected I was in the mood for a LotR game and even though this is basically a kids version of it, i feel it scratched the itch You'll probably get the best experience out of it if you have someone to play with in coop mode, but even played solo it's good stuff Downside is it's a bit of a half assed port to PC, uncomfortable controls that completely ignore the mouse, a few bugs, occasional crashes Nothing that prevents it from being playable, and very much enjoyable
Played this a ton on my Xbox 360 when i was younger and being able to replay it is an awesome experience. One of my favorite Lego games.
best lego game by far, ps the elf girls might make your thing go crazy
When you look at the potential of what a LEGO game can actually achieve, this is probably as close to perfect as we're going to get. If you are on the fence about this one at all, get it. The game structure coupled with the voice acting make it feel more like a story driven game and less like a game about running around and breaking things to collect blocks.
The game had potential but in the end I have to give it a thumbs down. I remember playing Lego Star Wars: The Complete Sage back in the day on XBox. Thought it was a pretty good game. This game, however, was a let down. If you're getting it on sale to keep in your backlog and probably never play it, get it. But if you're actually thinking about playing it, expect several bugs and glitches... some of which are game breaking. Wasn't sure which was worse, the overbearing camera constantly fighting the player, abysmal platforming, frequent frame drops below 60fps, or the crashes to desktop. Controls: Controller -> Mouse & Keyboard -> Controller. It was janky. On the plus side, it makes me want to rewatch the movies again.
Another great Lego game, but not as good as those that came before. This game relied on twitch gaming (precision platforming) more than previous version which is just frustrating for elderly players like myself. Additionally I found the controls to be difficult at types, having lost count of how many times I attempted to change the character only to result in switching characters - it appears any attempt to change character during actions like jumping, embarking or disembarking from equipment results in character swap. There is a major issue players need to be aware of in endgame - ensure you leave at least 1 red brick mithral object before completing creation of all mithral objects or you may not be able to collect the last mithral brick needed by trading a non-red brick mithral item. This will leave you having to rerun the entire game again like myself.
O mundo aberto é, pra mim, o grande destaque.
