Title: The ultimate LEGO Star Wars experience – pure joy from start to finish LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is easily one of the most fun and complete LEGO games ever made. It covers all nine main Skywalker Saga films in one massive package, and it does it really well. The open world planets are a big step up from older LEGO games. Being able to freely fly around, explore locations, and jump between episodes feels great. The humour is classic LEGO – silly, charming, and full of great visual gags that both kids and adults can enjoy. Combat is more engaging than previous entries too, with better lightsaber battles and blaster gameplay. Character collecting is as addictive as ever. There are hundreds of characters, vehicles, and side activities, so completionists will have a blast. The game also looks fantastic, with bright, colourful levels and smooth performance on most platforms. A few small things worth knowing: The story missions are shorter and more focused than some older LEGO games, which some people love and others miss. There’s a lot of content, so it can feel a bit overwhelming at first if you try to 100% everything immediately. Co-op is excellent and makes the whole experience even better with a friend or family member. Overall, it’s a love letter to Star Wars and LEGO fans. Funny, packed with content, and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end. If you’ve ever liked a LEGO game before, this is probably the best one to jump into. Highly recommended.
It would have been nice to play through the movies rather than watch the movies with extra jokes. You spend longer going to the next mission than you do on the actual mission. Seeing cut-scenes of fights happening to be followed up with walking to the next fight. Feels all wrong.
Got overwhelmed and quit. I can't describe why, I just don't like this. It's weird.

This one's really complicated. It's a game I really, *really* wanted to like. I even pre-ordered it for my Switch. And in some ways, this game does live up to expectations. The character roster is massive and expansive, all 9 saga films in one game, a revamped combat system with a big focus on stringing together fun lil combos. But it's also immensely disappointing in other ways. Most of the story mode gameplay is walking from point a to point b while characters talk. Missions range from decent to incredibly short and disappointing. The level selection itself is very weird and massive setpieces are excluded from the game or included as very brief cutscenes. Did you guys notice that every single lightsaber duel works the exact same, give or take a Force Lightning attack for the people who use that? I think the issue is that there's just too much of this game. It's real easy to hop on and grind Kyber Bricks for hours in the open worlds, but they're not particularly challenging or interesting and there's, might I add, ONE THOUSAND AND TWO HUNDRED of them to collect. This is on top of the Minikits, and the 300 character large roster (that's like a quarter costumes for main characters), and the 80 or so ships (speaking of this, why is the Republic Gunship not in this game??) and the 19 cheat code collectibles. I know it's weird to expect any level of challenge from a LEGO game, they're all pretty easy, but none of them are *this* dense and none of them ask you to do the same 6 puzzles and 3 retrieval missions slightly reshuffled nearly as many times as this game does. Also, I'm a fully grown ass adult and this is a baby game meant for babies. I'm sure this game is awesome if you're a kid growing up with it, and I fully admit my love for the original LEGO Star Wars games is hugely driven by nostalgia, but it doesn't make this one any less disappointing or dull to play.
dog **** remaster of a fantastic game. Splitscreen runs like garbage and 95% of the gameplay is walking from A to B to do the little actual missions. The original star wars had actual missions and no stupid ass walking simulator ♥♥♥♥. the droid factory mission actually gave my girlfriend an aneurism. I seriously do not think they playtested this sad excuse for a remaster.
Backtracking - The Game
