Getting shut down, cannot buy anymore. It's a good game, especially if you buy/bought the Awesome Edition (you still can via key sites). The awesome edition gives way more, about 4x more, things in game, then the regular game. The game is getting shut down, but as long as you either are fine with not having one achievement, or you are quick, you can 100% the game. The game is good in that you can create your own cars, but you do need the season passes to get lots of bricks.
I played this game thinking I was going to be the next Leclerc of lego 2K drive. Instead, I broke down the car so many times that the physics engine gave up and it banned my steam account because it thought I was cheating. It also deleted the game and removed it from my library and I had to buy it again. If I say I know how to drive, please stop me from driving any race car because I will atomize the whole car.
A charming but heavily flawed racing game. It felt like they didn't have a clear idea of what they wanted it to be. Not that it matters anymore, since it's been delisted.
A terrible game from a greedy company
I'm not really big on Lego but I did play (and enjoy) some Lego games on consoles. Even though this game seems to focus a lot on building vehicles, I ignored that part entirely because I wanted to play the game for the racing, exploration and collecting things. The game has 5 mini open worlds with their own themes, races and collectibles. There is a 'story' to follow by completing specific races but there is so much more to the game if you like open world style optional missions. The game looks absolutely gorgeous, there are many times I had to stop with what I was doing just to admire the beauty. The game also has some fantastic songs, very catchy and peaceful. The controls, races, gameplay and balance are pretty top notch. I had a great time and went out of my way to clear everything possible. The game does have 2 issues but some might not care. The first one is related to 2 achievements requiring you to drive around 10k KM. As mentioned, I've done everything including the 5th mini open world that was added later to the game but I still got 3.6k KM at most. Frankly, those achievements shouldn't exist or the max should be 3K KM. There is no content to get that amount and even as part of grinding, it's ridiculous by what is considered acceptable. Secondly, it's one of those games where it's fun to find all the collectibles, but they become a pain in the a** when you only have a few left. I wasted a lot of time looking up video guides just to find the one or two I was missing for every mini open world. I then find out they added flairs as rewards to the 5th mini open world, one of them is supposed to make sounds when you're near collectibles. I wish I knew this sooner. But, flairs are used to build vehicles. I don't think I can just equip them on their own and I don't feel like building cars for them. Regardless of everything mentioned, this is a gem of a game. It's a real shame it got delisted and the servers will be taken down within a year. Definitely play and enjoy the game in its current optimal form while you can. I'm not sure if certain functions will be bad without those servers. It took me over 44 hours to complete the game and get all the achievements except for the 2 mentioned. You generally have to work hard for some achievements (get gold on all events and find all collectibles).
6/10 great game but let down by horrendous optimisation
i had alot of fun playing this game but i heard they are shutting it down so im giving it a downvote
