Legend of Fae

It's been a little while since I played, but I still remember this game fondly. I don't seek out match-3 games, but for some reason I picked this one up and was delighted by it. A disabled protagonist, a fun supporting cast, and skill-progression where the abilities you buy actually make a difference, those are the things I recall most vividly. It was also decently challenging, although the only boss I had to redo more than once (as far as I remember) was the final one. The story is no slouch either, and from what I hear it plays into the sequel too. Steam doesn't do number ratings, but I'd give it 9/10. It does exactly what it is trying to do, and does it well.

I enjoy this game, but I can never stick with it long enough to finish it. If I could have the freedom to move orbs vertically it would improve the feel of this game. That's one of the main reasons I get tired of the game. The horizontal movement feels so restrictive.

Не верьте утверждениям в некоторых отзывах, что это аналог Puzze Quest. Роднит их только наличие сквозного сюжета. Во всём остальном эта игра рядом не валялась. Бои тут в реальном времени, а не по очереди, как в PQ (если правильно помню).То есть пока вы соображаете куда тыкать как в жопу ужаленный - вас бьют. А учитывая, что в игре ПОСТОЯННО нужно переключаться между двумя экранами - реалтайм бои выглядят совсем прекрасно. Зачем все эти лишние телодвижения с переключениями были сделаны - непонятно. Судя по всему игра создавалась для какой-то двухэкранной консольки или типа того. Ну и игра просто скучна и репетативна. Сюжет не вывозит совсем. Прошёл 11 уровней и умер со скуки. Мысль о том, что меня ждут ещё четыре десятка подобных уровней ввергла меня в уныние. Лучше переиграйте какой-нибудь из Puzzle Quest.

El juego en sí está bastante bien, algunas mecánicas podrían ser mejores, el tema del árbol de habilidades es algo mediocre, pero en general es un juego entretenido con cierto reto hacia la parte final para jugadores que no somos muy experimentados en el genero. Gráficamente es bonito, muy destacable considerando su año de salida y siendo de los primeros trabajos de esta empresa. La música también me ha parecido buena, destaca en algunos momentos del juego. Ahora el problema, el juego está roto a la hora de guardar las partidas. No puedes tener más de un perfil a la vez de lo contrario se sobreescriben y pierdes todo tu progreso. Perdí una partida en el nivel 49 en hard solo por tratar de ver algo en mi primera partida en normal, la cual también se perdió. Adicional a lo anterior, se debe tener presente que no tiene steamcloud. Ninguno de estos problemas son nuevos y aparecen desde hace años en el foro, una lástima nunca se hayan arreglado.

Ein Fehler bei den Profilen hat dazu geführt, dass mein Spielstand komplett überschrieben wurde, als ich ein zweites Profil erstellt habe. Design und so ist ganz niedlich aber Gameplay leider nicht so fun. Der Wechsel zwischen Sammeln und Kämpfen ist lästig und ständig wirst du durch irgendwelche Meldungen wegen Effekten unterbrochen. Du hast auch wenig Einfluss auf die Generierung von Gems. Je länger man spielte, desto weniger Fun wird das Spiel dadurch, auch weil gewisse Fertigkeiten wie Ausweichen unklar sind, wie man sie genau timen muss.
