Leaf's Odyssey

I generally really don't like puzzle games. They are confusing and hard to wrap my head around, but Leaf's Odyssey does such a stellar job with its ramping difficulty, intertwined mechanics and a journal that outright explains the different mechanics to eliminate the guesswork make this a game I genuinely enjoy a lot. It gives me those satisfying moments of finally figuring out the puzzle and time and time again shows me that there are still more surprises within the puzzle once I figure it out. The only annoying part for me are the slugs, since their puzzles are all cycle based which can create really frustrating moments where you skip one move during the cycle adn the solution falls apart, forcing you to restart. Though even that is eventually circumventable by just learning how they work properly. Really good game honestly and I love that you can make your own levels and share them with others too. Also big fan of the youtubes! :3

its very small in filesize, good leveleditor, nice controls, And generaly it feels very nice for how small it is, not even mentioning the campign.

Well designed and difficult but fair puzzles. Works great on steam deck.

Really enjoying this - satisfying, self-contained puzzles that build upon previously discovered creature interactions (captured in a very handy journal, I'd never remember it all otherwise). Pixel art is adorable.
