Absolutely amazing game. My go to cozy game.
I've played this game on and off since beta in 2018, but I've gotten re-obsessed in the last two weeks. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a farm sim with a little more forward momentum than something like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing.

Charming
In some ways it is a game similar to Stardew Valley, but its scope is vast in comparison. In Stardew Valley, a player is limited to advancing their farm and progressing through a few dungeons. So, generally speaking, you get to farm, buy and sell stuff, develop relationships and then adventure in dungeons. Kynseed, on the other hand, gives you many more avenues of entertainment such as owning shops, developing relationships with people in multiple towns, and several other options. Then, there is the multi-generational aspect to the game. The game advances through time and that affects the player as well as all of the NPCs in the game. This causes a sense of scarcity and urgency in getting to know NPCs since they won't always be around. I will say combat mechanics are a bit strange. If you are used to regular turn based or arcade-like combat, prepare yourself for something quite different.
