I have barely scratched the surface of what this game has to offer. BUT I LOVE IT. I love how many different things you can do. I love that YOU : THE PLAYER CHOOSE THE PATH. It's super laid back while giving you a story to follow at your own pace. Super sandboxy. Cause you dont HAVE to do the story right away if you dont want to. You can just run your shop, marry someone, have kids. Grow old. Pass it on. Theres so many side quests that you can do. I just all around love the atmosphere so far!

I personally loved my time with this game. The game lets you move as quickly or as slowly as you like and gives back what you put into it. You can beat the game in a single lifetime if you use the right items and skills or, you can spend generations building your dream character passing on attributes from parent to child. If you're looking for a game that lets you move at the pace of your choice this is an excellent one. The setting of the game is definitely based on ancient Celtic mythology from the British Isles with fairies, banshees, etc. and has an excellent soundtrack to add to the theme of the world. It really makes me feel like I'm playing a 2D Fable game with more features and details outside of combat. Gameplay is quite interesting in this game and changes based on the context you're currently in. When exploring, farming, and gathering resources it's quite similar to Stardew Valley or Harvest moon with the exception that you just harvest wood, ores, and stone without having to switch to a specific tool. Crafting is all based on minigames that are easier or harder based on your character's stats (bigger sweet-spots if your smithing skill is high). There is combat but it is limited to specified zones that you clear one level at a time using a system that reminds of lane-based action with a Final Fantasy ATB twist. There are quests, jobs, and challenges to complete and there are tons of each, you would have to really try hard to run out of things to do. Ultimately, I recommend this game to anyone looking for a whimsical British adventure with a banger sound track, a plethora of side activities, and no real rush to finish the game. I really feel that I got my money's worth out of this game and it was a great way to calm down after work.
