Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i adore this game, the art, the music, i like everything about it. its not the usual farming game and honestly i prefer this. some people might not like the dialogues/interactions with npc's and items but it has genuinely brought a smile to my face with the amount of stupid jokes/puns ive read so far.
14 hours in, unlock combat, do the fighting thing, first battle one dude, second battle 2 dudes, third battle 2 dudes, 1 golden, 4th battle out of nowhere a boss, out of no where leading to a death, F that not gonna respect my time, well you just lost a future customer
I got the game before it had an closed released on steam so I played through like 4 saves files so it's not the same save file and my experience isn't exactly the same as starting it from scratch. I would say it's fun for a long while but after that there isn't much to do for of fun fun or anything sandbox-y that would make me come back for it. At this point I did almost everything besides not at all something I care about (like waiting for a random event to occur). I think the game has a good potential to make something that would make me come back to mess with something in it and came back because of it but it didn't have a content update for a year now which is kind of unfortunate. The stories for characters aren't bad but aren't amazing either though the main quest is pretty good. The aging at first sounds interesting but someone who is at year 90+ everyone is dead and I don't care about any of the new NPCs so it ends up kind of meh and the characters are obviously worse since no real thought was put into the them. Being married and having children is basically having extra hands which is so nice. If there was one tip I would want to give to every player is that you can eat food to increase your stats you can gift people stuff to decrease their stats so you can basically eat something to increase your barter and decrease theirs with a gift - you can even give this to your employees to be less tired or sell stuff for more and profit or just make them friendly and make yourself charming and get more friend points or make them spill secrets, get stronger in fights or get better at making babies (apparently). (maybe it was just me who didnt know this was a thing for a while because I started playing before it was implemented but it would have been so nice to know)
4 hours and still in the tutorial, but already an entertaining game that is worth it. Obviously an incomplete review but the nature of the game means I'll probably flounder on reviewing it later so I'll do so now, at least to counteract some of the reviews who it didn't gel with early on. This feels like a top down, open world western rpg. Because its focus is on systems and seems like it's going to span a large amount of time, I don't find games like Stardew Valley or Story of Seasons entirely apt comparisons. Instead this feels like a lost lionhead game. This game has a lot of witty writing and dry English humour. It's at times overly referential or irreverent for the sake of it, but most of the writing is beautiful and poetic regardless. Its handling of spiritualism and how it interfaces with the world is pretty unique. Most of the NPCs, presumably by the generational design of the game, aren't in themselves incredibly appealing, but how they interact with the world and each other makes for a good game loop. The little building and farming I've done has had a surprising amount of creative freedom, and there are lots of little minigames tied to crafting and just racing around on pigs for the hell of it. There has been a single combat encounter my entire time playing and it was both completely unique and extremely easy to parse. For a game with so many disparate aspects I think they all work well alone and with each other. Although they're clearly setting up the protagonist as some sort of hero with a central story tied around them, it still feels like they're part of a whole and the world isn't revolving around them. The Fae also introduce a lot of intrigue by existing. There was a surprisingly shocking event that just comes at you out of nowhere that completely recontextualizes the world you live in. Sometimes things will be cutesy and be extremely forgiving by not killing animals you forgot to feed, and sometimes your pig will explode. The sprite work is beautiful and the animals all look nice, the humans are a bit goofy looking but it feels intentional more than a result of artistic limitation. I don't think a game that's as mechanically broad as this should feel as put together as this does. I don't think most game companies could make a game like this feel satisfying, but this one just works for me. I'll probably update this when I get at least through a generation.
Likes: - A much darker take on the cozy/farming sim genre, with references to a number of classic folk horror films - Combat largely follows a turn-based system, but integrates stamina and realtime features in a way that really works for me (note that this may not be for everyone) - Minigames are fun and varied; the fishing mechanic, in particular, is much more user friendly than those used in other similar games, while still being enjoyable - Features a wide range of different locations and characters, which serve to keep the player engaged Dislikes: - In-game years take too long for the generational mechanic, that the game is built upon, to feel impactful; - Mechanic whereby you trade years for perks/abilities, while very intriguing, is not incentivized enough; towards the beginning, accepting these trades feels almost too daunting to be able to justify, whereas later on these deals feel inconsequential - Feels overwhelming at times; the beginning sees you very short on cash and resources, while the later game has you managing a lot of different tasks/activities, which can be easy to lose track of - Game feels very long, making it easy to lose interest prior to completing it Verdict: Kynseed is a unique game and does a good job of blending multiple genres. Completionists, however, may find that it overstays it's welcome, and many of the central mechanics do not feel properly balanced. Overall, I would recommend this game to people looking for an alternative darker take on the cozy farming-sim genre, but it certainly will not be for everyone.
Unglaublich gutes Spiel. Hab ich ehrlich nicht erwartet, das es mich so hart abholt.
I got and tried this game solely because I love Fable and the devs for the entire series, and I'm so happy that they made this game and when playing it you can sense the essence it provides. I've yet to really delve into it but its incredible the work they've done so far, and I hope they keep improving the game. I have no doubts I will spend well over 100 hours enjoying this masterpiece :)
It's real fun and well done. Very enjoyable. It exceeded my expectations. I would describe it as a blend of Stardew Valley, Dave the Diver, and maybe Secret of Evermore. It has solid story, fun game play, is balanced well to keep things meaningful, and the writer's did a great job with all text.
