Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Kynseed is really good, if you've been unsure about this game, let me try and convince you. ➡️ You start off as a kid with a bedtime during the prologue, then timeskip straight to adulthood and no more curfew, stay up as late as you want. As a kid (and new player), this is the "tutorial" and you're learning how to accept quests, forage, explore...etc I've read this seems to be the part most people go off, but I personally didn't mind it and didn't find it too long. ✅ The story is interesting! The play on fables (ha!), rhymes.. It's niche and cute. ✅ No time constraints at all. You can pick up a quest today or do it a year later, doesn't matter ✅ The world is huge, it's fun just exploring different areas ✅ The mini games are surprisingly good. I'm not usually into mini games but crafting potions, smithing swords, cooking, fishing, it all adds a lot of depth to the game ✅ Fishing especially, it's simple, you bob then reel in, and I like that it's not overly complicated ✅ The characters have genuinely interesting backstories. There's literally one about low libido! I wasn't expecting that and it gave me a good chuckle. Gifting is easy, you can own shops to make more money, and the wiki is really useful if you get stuck on anything. I haven't tried the new tavern update yet but this game is such a gem. I'm genuinely confused how it's not as well loved. The devs have given us great updates. Highly recommend it, wish more people played it!!

I have had this game on my account for years and I play it on an off, but never for a long time. The game looks so cute and the story seems interesting. And I usually don't get drawn in by story so that's saying something, But the game isn't intuitive. My main issue is the UI. I'm still not sure where to see the time and some things aren't explained properly. It leads to alot of frustration from my side and I end up uninstalling the game until I'm bored an evening and give it another shot. In some ways it's feels like a sturdy and good game, in other ways it feels underdeveloped.

in my opinion its too bloated. the game tries to be soo much and this ends up in hollow functionalities and that disappoints.
Oh my god.
It's overwhelming, depressing, and it all took me by surprise. I ended up sacrificing my only friend in-game. And I ended up getting tricked into signing a devil's contract. This is in no way a chill farming game. If you're looking for something like SDV, turn back now. I was just looking for my next controller-friendly game after finishing Outlast. I see Kynseed and I think to myself, "Hey, this looks pretty chill. I guess a change of pace is good." That may be true for the first 5 hours.
I was first here for the farming/crafting. But now, I am definitely here for the story. And I'm just finding out it's from the previous Fable devs. Looks like I'm here for a wild ride. Sure. I'll recommend if you like plot twists lmao. Will update the review along the way.
This is not a Stardew clone. There's a lot to say, but I'll keep it short with some pros: No inventory management. You carry everything on you with no limits. No Energy or Bedtimes. (childhood is short so doesn't count) Farming is not your job by default. All crafting comes with a special minigame Combat is actually challenging, it's unique and not just a bottonmasher. Weirdly dark themes (in a fun and mildly horrifying way) A lot of the less interesting parts, are the fact that you spend most of your time foraging/exploring and giving random crap to NPCs, who are disposable (they age out) Don't get attached to anyone, you are (by all rights) immortal. "Your progeny will rule this land!" Your character will age and die, so your goal is to find a partner and Wish for a kid to inherit your stats and continue living through them. NPCs are a means to an end. It's actually pretty important to have a ton of 'friends' because you get them to do things for you, mostly building. So don't bother hoarding things early on, or finding the perfect gifts. There are so many NPCs that if a few get pissed at you giving them an apple, there are plenty more who liked it. Time might feel fast to start because each season is only 2 weeks, but you will have PLENTY of time to do everything so there's no real need to rush. Missing an event isn't world ending, because it'll come back around soon enough. Welcome to the dark faery tale world of Kynseed
I'm obsessed with farming/simulation games. All the way back to harvest moon, rune factory, animal crossing, stardew valley, my time at portia/sandrock, cult of the lamb - if it has cows and sheep, I'll give it a try. Most games in this genre do not have a strong story, and have very simple combat if they have any combat at all. It's an egregious lack that I've been chasing ever since Rune Factory let me kaiju battle my way to master farmer. Yes, give me cozy, but also let me have fun playing a game! This game? Kynseed? This game RULES. I didn't take it seriously at first, until I beat the tutorial and got my ass handed to me by a freakin' level 2 goblin... thing. The combat in this game is complex, and really fun! The characters are interesting, and the overarching storyline has me guessing like none of these games have in the past. What the HECK is going on? Why am I an orphan? What do the fey creatures want from me, and how do they relate to these goddesses that rule humanity with an iron fist? Where do all of these magical portals lead to?! It's a mystery, with some great tongue-in-cheek humor, as you discover more about this crazy world. I haven't even opened up the entirety of the map, or gotten married, but this game has me hooked, and I think you should give it a try - if you also like games with cows and sheep.

Hi, I just started yesterday and im at 16 hours. I got it 75% off during steam sales and I'm really amazed by the quality of the game, the art, the story, sadly the dark story, but mostly farming and adventures!! Feel free to ask me questions if you are concerned about it but I'll try to summarize a few points. I also got it since my friend couldn't play Sun Haven with me much, so I wanted a single player game and it's great so far. I'm also surprised it's not overwhelmingly positive, it's such a well crafted game with lots of love and attention to details. At first when i watched gameplay videos of it, I wasn't as interested, thought it's slow/boring (maybe I just watched a random youtube and wasn't too interested in the player's voice). So this might be something more interesting to the player, when you start collecting things and felt the dopamine and want to keep collecting more, compared to watching someone play (such as minecraft, stardew etc).It might be better if the game has demo and people can try to get a feel of it, since once you start a game, you can usually tell if you like it or not.
Art:
1. I love the art. I really like rain, wind effects (trees moving in the background), details like the ducks and swan playing in the ponds, its just so beautiful. A lot of other small creator games lack this amount of detail in their art, even the area is just a few building, tree, mine, and that's it, mostly empty. This game is not, its filled with so much going on in the background, its so beautiful. 2. Music soothing. My chat kept saying it's so calm they're gonna fall sleep lol, I really like it. 3. Only issue is that people are not beautiful like from animates. It's just regular dudes and girls and I haven't found anyone too attractive yet, maybe Ash Brown lool. 4. The other issue is that the color feels too vibrant sometimes, and I'm not sure if' it's a setting I can adjust so it's easier on the eyes. (I'm pretty ok with it now, i guess i got used to it or maybe it's the season)
Story
1. Unfortunately, its a dark ish story, where we lose our family in the main story (after prologue), but I'm not too sure about later since I just started. I feel it'll be a long time until I get to age 50 so... ummmmm and yeh I don't want time to pass, cause it's ok if I just get older, but other people get older too, and it breaks my heart to see them age. 2. A lot of "farming, cooking" games, they don't put in much effort into NPC relationships, where most NPC don't say anything interesting, or they even hates you at the beginning. So I'm glad this game, it's fairly easy to become friends with people by gifting them gifts, and they'll love me already. You also need them to fix buildings but I'm not sure what else. 3. There's other towns to explore, and a lot of people that I'm a bit worried of being overwhelmed. At the first town, its just them, but now with two towns and going back and forth, I'm not sure. Technically, I can take my time in things so maybe it's fine lool. 4. Writing: When I first heard that you need to collect notes to learn about things, it sounded more tedious than interesting. But given how clean the UI is and the game keep track of the notes for you, I really enjoy collecting these information, and use them to find the fish that I want. Some review complains about the writing, sometimes it break the fourth wall and there's a lot of swearing (****), but so far it's only a few occurances for me. I enjoy reading everything since it rhymes and it sound really good hearing it. It's also kinda mysterious and adds to the charm of the whole setting written in slightly more old english. It sounds like a riddle, but pretty obvious and easy to understand. :) My chat says its good asmr to go to sleep with lool.
Great UI and many quality of life features:
1. No chest management needed (I really like this since managing things is a headache for me.): usually, other games we will create a lot of chests and the QoL would be eg, making it easier to sort items in the inventory, or auto-put things into chests. But this game doesn't have chest since you carry everything on you. There's very specific and clean UI for all items: Under Food tab, you have crops, fish, herbs, cooked food etc. Under Equipment tab, you have tools, buckets, battle related items. Under Collections/Notes, you have all the notes you have gathers for each category (fish, food, crops etc) to give you hint of time, place, effects of the items (such as where, when to find certain fish) 2. simplified tool usage: - tool bar for commonly used items similar to stardew. But certain tools, such as mining and axe doesn't require to be switched out. I'm guessing you don't upgrade those tools. - You improve skills of the tool, and unlock special effects, such as higher drop rates, even auto-collection, so this is very convenient. - no need to refill water from watering can, you can also water multiple crops at once 3. NPC only have up to 3 hearts, so we don't need to spend as much time gifting them gifts, and I'd like that. You build friendship with NPC and they'll gift you gifts back, and you can only rebuild houses/ farm buildings with the help of other NPCs, so that's interesting. creates a sense of community 4. You can TP. The only complaint is that the animation makes me dizzy, but otherwise it's very nice. 5. Similar to the inventory system, there's other tabs that shows relationship, achievements (for lots of money), building progress, calendar for all the events and dates. It's really nice! 6. (small spoiler alert, or hint): If you use your tools for gathering crops, and slingshot for apples/berries, you'll upgrade your tools and that'll give you special effects, like higher chance of additional drops, auto-collect, etc!! 7. You don't need to go home to sleep everyday at midnight (you do at younger age, but after a few weeks, you don't as an adult). I really don't like having to run back home to sleep in Stardew valley, and you'll faint etc. This game, you don't need to sleep. The game will auto-save at 6am everyday or you can save manually at a campsite. 8. Downside: there's only one save file so if you need to do some gamble stuff, might need to manually copy the game file and reload.
Community
1. You'll make friends, and maybe get married and have kids. The dark story (spoiler) is that your spirit will live on onto your offsprings or kids you adopted, so that the stats can be improved and past down by generation. It's sad when I found out that I lost my uncle and brother and I'm alone, when we were living so happily together before. But hopefully that's the only sad part and we'll have kids and have a big family afterwards, but I'm not too sure who to marry, cause they look mostly ugly loool. 2. Did I mention that you can take ur friend's crops when you're close enough? (maybe 1 to 2 hearts). That's a lot of free apples and carrots to collect!! XDD
Mini games:
1. There's mini games for crafting, cooking etc. It's a cute little game but you can create in batches after doing it 3-5 times. The only thing that prevents you from making a lot is that the star ratings of the ingredients have to be the same. eg. if you use 2 star berry, and you have 5 of that and 7 of 1 star, you have to use them separately, unless the recipe needs 2 berries, then you can choose 2 star and 1 star separately. 2. no mini game in fishing, just wait for them to come and bite. Sometimes it takes awhile
Combat:
I got whooped at first !!! Here's some tips and tricks: 1. To make it easier (monster attack slower): go to options - accessibility - turn down monster attack speed to lowest. Then it's managable 2. DON'T CLICK DEEPER. CLICK CONTINUE in the dungeon! Otherwise you make the level higher 3. If you die 5 times in the dungeon, you will lose one year of your life!! so I alt-F4, or play LEVEL 1 multiple times, buy healing item
