Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I started this game on a whim by the recommendation of a mutual. I didn’t really understand what they saw it in; the screenshots didn’t pull me in and the designs were quirky and none of the marriage candidates looked appealing for what I’m used to from a farming sim. I did eventually try it, and almost 90 hours later here I am. The screenshot don’t really do justice to the gorgeous pixel art. Where the character designs are quirky and simplistic the backgrounds and areas are so details and layered, you get to see small critters and bugs and it all feels so cozy as the seasons changes. The main draw for me was the exploration. You are incentivized to look into nook and cranny and gather anything you see, the second you finish the tutorial there is no need to sleep or get off your mount, and despite that I never ran out of things I needed to do or wanted to try. I’ve especially enjoyed the combat addition and the many options that could help you make grinding less of a chore. My complaints are few, and they never really affected my overall enjoyment. The generations mechanic wasn’t implemented as well as I wished. I never bothered to change my character and the items that should ‘speed up’ the process arrived by the time I wanted to retire the game. That’s not to say it wouldn’t be fun for people who keep playing for years to come, I’m just not that kind of player. The second is the lack of depth into the townsfolk. Despite the impressive number of them and the care it took to create several of them, their personalities didn’t really standout and nor did their ‘quests’, if they even had any. From what I’ve read their next generation and beyond are even more bland npc without much personality. I do definitely recommend it. Whether you’re into cozy games or want a life sim with a focus on exploration.

I absolutely adore this game. it is advertised as a farming sim, and some aspects would remind you of other well-known farming sims, but much of this game plays more like a village sim where the game doesn't revolve around the family farm that you have to return to each night. You can spend days out of your home at a time gathering resources, schmoozing the locals for gossip and running shops. but there is also plenty of land at home for the classic giant-farm experience. But my favorite aspect of the game is how each crafting skill has its own minigame.
EDIT/ACTUAL REVIEW: This game isn't finished, and knowing about the content that was cut from it with (allegedly) no intent to reimplement it makes that feel a bit worse. It's playable! And it's great, I like it a lot. It also took me 30 hours to get out of the Prologue/"Post-Prologue" and get to what the game considers Chapter 1, which I had to look up a guide for all three steps of despite having discovered all the necessary maps. The generational mechanic seems wholly unnecessary to complete the story, which is disappointing because something that always bugs me about games in this genre is that your farmer is immortal and your children never age. If the story gating forced players to interact with the Kynseed's main conceit that'd be awesome, and maybe it will in the future. Right now I'm completely stalled on progress and just stockpiling currency while I wait for the year tax to happen. TL;DR, get it on sale and hope there are more content updates (or a more fleshed out sequel) coming. Desperately want to see more from this studio in this space! ORIGINAL: I'm mostly here to clown on the Christians that pretend the world's tamest Wicker Man interpretation is an evil pagan ritual that corrupts them through the game. Y'all gotta go to therapy babes. Game is fine, dialogue could be more varied and it'd be neat if there were consequences for the vast periods of time you just go missing.
I can tell that this game was made with lots of love, has really beautiful art and music, and a very interesting lore. Be advised that not all things that seems normal at the surface are in deed just that. If you enjoy storytelling, fantastical worlds and a bit of darkness in between, this is the game for you! Just beware that this needs a TON OF READING! So if you're not into that, hnestly just don't even try it, one of the most compelling things about this game is the story (and all the jokes hahaha). Overall I'm loving it, so super recommend!
Wonderful game it’s cozy with a lot of depth.
This is the fey and folklore pagan pixel art game of my DREAMS. Like, so good. I've been playing since very early days and it's grown and evolved so much. And oh my godddds the game is GORGEOUS. The mechanics and minigames and characters and lore and UI and ugh just everything. There is SO much you can do, SO much to uncover and explore, so many ways to live your lives and each of them fulfilling and truly satisfying. Every now and then I get back in my Kynseed kick and lose myself for ages in this incredible world. 10/10, 100% recommend
Harvest Moon's extremely weird cousin.
I was impressed with the Prologue, it really stood out. Overall the game gives off a very polished vibe in many areas. The Fae lore, graphics and visual effects help a lot in setting the mood for the first few hours. The combat is innovative and fun. While there's a drastic change in how the game plays after the first two hours of Prologue, there's still enough progression content to keep you going for many hours. However, something that struck me very early is how tedious and repetitive the friendship and town board quests are. I believe some quality of life improvements for tracking and completing these quests would go a long way, as well as either fewer of them, or more variety to them. I also never actually got to pass on to my children because I completed the story with two seasons of lifetime left. I think it could have been cooler if passing on to your children had a more direct and necessary effect towards gameplay, such as unlocking new perks by doing so (as opposed to just getting them for free from Fairweather or REP growth). In the end I'd still recommend the game because most of my time played was enjoyable, just be prepared to be a bit disappointed by the repeatable quests and the family tree / generational system.
