Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 16 → 0.75/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun but has some quirks. Sometimes feels like it requires a level of hyperawareness that I don't have. With so much neon flashing on the screen it's hard to concentrate on what's happening. I think there should have been a look ahead button or the camera adjusting to the mouse position because a lot of the time there is absolutely no way to know what you're getting yourself into when going into a room and that just adds to the confusion. Plot is nothing special but the writing feels very heavy-handed like it's trying way to hard to feel dark. I wonder if the writers are aware of the similarities to F.E.A.R. It also had a 'Project Origin' where the main test subject was a psychic girl.

If you're looking at the store page for this game, you're looking for something to scratch the itch Hotline Miami left you all those years ago, you're a furry, or both. So let's cut to the chase and list the similarities between Hotline and Kusan. You die in one hit and so do your enemies, ultra-violent pixel art, banging soundtrack, occasional frustrations with things spiraling out of control very quickly, stories that debatably only exist to give a reason to the extreme violence you inflict during gameplay. That's pretty much it. Kusan does enough differently to make it into an entirely different beast. Instead of picking up weapons from the environment or dead enemies, you (almost) always have access to three; your robot arm that acts as your only melee weapon and can parry attacks, a throwing knife that can be recovered, and a gun with one magazine (although you can pick up more ammo during each stage). Oh, and your robot arm is called the War-Hand. That's not important but I think its sorta cool. Each of these weapons can be upgraded, a few examples being allowing you to charge your melee attack to punch through doors and turn anything unfortunate enough to stand near it into paste or using it on an enemy to basically turn their bones into shrapnel, timing a button press to immediately recover your knife after killing an enemy, and there are different firearms you can equip (although I never found a use for half of them). Of course, it doesn't matter if the weapons are good if the enemies you use them against aren't fun to fight. Thankfully, they are! There's maybe about 15 types of enemy. They're almost all pretty basic (Melee guy, gun man, bull rush dude, etc.) but the level design uses pretty good placement so the game never gets boring. While each enemy reacts quickly, I never found myself wondering when they would attack and never got killed by an off-screen enemy. There are also three bosses, one at the end of each chapter. The game looks great! The pixel art is beautiful even when depicting extreme gore and the comic art used for the cutscenes and character portraits blend really well with it. There's also a deer man with crossbows and guns for antlers. The music is also pretty good! Of course it doesn't really compare to Hotline's soundtrack, not many things can. As previously stated, the story feels mostly like an excuse plot. Just a reason to have cool fights and set pieces in a furry cyberpunk future. It's nothing you haven't seen before and mostly consists of cliches, the only thing worth noting is how little personality each character has, excluding the aforementioned deer man. Play a few levels and you already know exactly what is going to happen and you can probably predict what level it'll happen in. The game is short, I finished it in about 5 hours, but it feels like the perfect length. Any longer and the levels wouldn't stand out as much. Any shorter and I'd be wondering where my $15 went. Its a good game! I rate it about an 8/10 overall and 9/10 at its best.
Spectacular gameplay, has me wanting to hit S rank every mission replaying each stage over and over, but unfortunately the soundtrack has been a major sour point as I've progressed, by chapter two scene 2 or so I opted to just mute it and listen to my own playlist, definitely gonna finish out the game though for sure
I have just finished the game and wow. I cannot count how many times I have lost track of time playing this! I wish there was more, I didn't want the game to end! This game was genuinely a blast! super addictive combat loop similar to hotline Miami, but it managed to take that and elevate it. Super gritty atmosphere and very likeable characters. I also enjoyed the way the story was told with the comic-y style storyboards. This game is worth the money! 10/10 would recommend!
