For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

While at first glance this game might seem like a Hotline Miami clone. And yeah the gameplay is basically kill or be killed in one hit (Boss fights excluded). The design is fundamental different. While hotline is a game about using the environment and improvising with the weapons you find, this game is about mastering your fixed move set. You have a bionic fist which is your main melee tool except it can also be charged to smash objects in to enemies and can also parry possibly every single attack in the game even bullets. You have a medium range throwing Knife that will kill most enemies in the game even some bullet proof ones but it needs to be picked up after use althou upgrades that bypass this annoyance can be acquired. And you have your guns which have near unlimited range but also have different uses and require ammo and not always a guarantied kill. In addition to this the game lets you customize your play-stile to a large extent it has an intricate upgrade system where you dont necessarily buff you stats bur rather add additional modifiers and mehanicks on top of your existing move set. The overall gameplay loop is you entering a level dying reputedly till you learn the tempo and perfect route to kill all the enemies as fast and as efficiently and possibly stylishly as you can. Retrying after death is near instant so death is never truly frustrating. The game also features some well designed Boss fights ware the boss takes many hits to kill but you still do die after one hit but they are fun to learn and master especially once you get the parry timings down. The story is not the most amazing but its serviceable its similar to a ultra violent 90s Anime OVA. Its here more to just build atmosphere its not the main focus of the game but the story artwork is pretty good and i imagine people who like anthro character will like it. Music also fits the game its not Synthwave like people might expect from game like this but it fits the action and world perfectly in my opinion. Overall its a really enjoyable game you can finish in a weekend possibly even one day.

I love hotline Miami. I bought this game on day one with high expectations. This game… This loop… EXCEEDED IT. I wasn’t expecting such a good and deep combat system! Awesome boss fights! Epic story! Combat that’ll make you feel like John Wick and Doomfist mashed into one unstoppable force of nature. Makes you feel how sonic and shadow felt at the end of the Sonic 3 movie. This game makes everything feel like it has weight, like your actions truly matter and play a bigger role than you realize. The story is in your face all the time so you definitely won’t miss anything. Dying doesn’t feel like the end, every time I died I wasn’t ever upset just: “Ah! Damn. *Takes sip from trusty vault 13 canteen* Maybe try it from a different angle or different strategy.” There are so many options for combat in this game that it is absolutely devious and it is extremely badass. Fire your weapon, Punch, Parry, smash through walls/doors, stealth kill, knife throw, knife parry into ricochet. This game is so good that I would recommend it to anyone who likes badass gunslinging characters. It’s literally a John Wick fan’s wet dream. The only thing I’d say that this game is missing is an endless or Arcade mode. But holy crap dude. This game is ¡P E A K! I really wish I could support this developer directly, cause I want more lmao. This is genuinely the best game I’ve played in years. ¡ABSOLUTE CINEMA!
I think that if you are chasing that high of Hotline Miami, then this isn't quite what you are looking for. The Cyberpunk/Furry aesthetic is well done, the soundtrack is an excellent companion, as are the comics, and the controls are alright its just not clicking together for me. I'm currently struggling with the Dreadnought boss, and Jesus wept it kind of solidifies what's been irritating me while playing. The main game plays ok (apart from visibility/FOV), but you can't just throw in these set pieces. Especially when they cause a spike in difficulty, Dreadnought needs parrying, but its gotta be a charge punch, which is fine if its 1 punch, but harder when 2 and messy, when blades are dropped in. But getting to that boss, is a flipping nightmare because of the irritating bike section. Its another set piece that's been thrown in but not cooked long enough, just like the last stand style sequences. Its not an awful game, but those sections will needlessly raise blood pressure. I score B/Cs with the occasional spike to A/S, so that's a general indication of my skill level. I'm not saying make the game easier, but its a warning to those that struggle to parry generally. I am aware of the patch, but I haven't noticed more readable ranged enemies. Good luck!
If I were to sum Kusan: City of Wolves up in one sentence, it'd be "Korean Cyberpunk Hotline Miami with Furries," and it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ magnificent. Gorgeous art and character design, a good if slightly standard story, a wonderful soundtrack, and that's before I mention the gameplay itself; fluid and satisfying with a few enemy variants and a form of skill system allowing for some playstyle diversity. My only complaint is it feels short and the story a bit rushed, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if it doesn't manage to hit most of the beats it wants to hit anyway. 9/10 experience, I hope the fandom takes off and that there's more future content. Also, I'd kill for a full comic version.
Very good top down shooter. I havent played much of "hotline Maimi" , I am almost at the end and I can recommend it.
Pros:
1. Well Polished very few if no bugs 2. Runs Smooth , barely very few stutters and loads very quickly 3. Good Story 4. Great Music 5. Great stylized Visual and character designs 6. Seems to have actual soul in it 7. No in your face political messaging
Cons:
1. Some minor bugs: i. In the demo The dogs that rush at you seemed to have a bigger hitbox than expected, this was fixed in the full release ii. The knife tracking can be annoying as it snaps to an enemy that is not intended costing you the run, happens very easily in the final missions where you have multiple enemies crowding you 2. Some aspects are not very well explained such as HOW to get high style points, how to hit enemies behind you, how to get chips for upgrades (You need to find secret rooms) 3. Sometimes the room designs are too big or maze-like leading to dead time where you need to find that one missing enemy , that leads to less fun and a worst score
Muito bom, eu comprei achando que era so um jogo de matar geral, não esperava uma lore tão boa, e a musica tambem é otima! recomendo.
This is great fun - yes very Hotline Miami vibes (which is a good thing!) but the combat is fast, fun and fluid. When you die the restart is lighting fast. Recomended.
Yeah its pretty awesome. It's got a banging soundtrack, smooth gameplay, great visuals, and a story that tells itself with a mix of animated graphic novels as well as cutscenes. It's incredibly engaging to follow and very creative mechanics. Enemies are balanced and well thought out. Overall an amazing buy.
Really strong first impression. Incredible style, world building, and gameplay.
