Bought it for the japanese convini experience. Got the cutest plushie store I couldn't imagine as a bonus. 12/10!

Definitely! It’s very therapeutic to play. I’m just having an issue with the Sweet Shop level. In Chocolate Bar 4, there are 2 extra items even though all the chocolate bars have already counted toward the total of 24. Because of these extra 2 Chocolate Bar 4 items, I can’t finish the level. I think it might be a bug or something. Hopefully, it can be fixed soon!
Konbini Cleanup is another game in the recent trend of cleanup games. It's very much like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. No story, no consequences, just pick up items and put them on the shelf. I really like the Japanese item assets, as I'm learning hiragana and katakana. Reading previous reviews, they have removed all AI assets, and have updated the game numerous times with bug fixes and quality of life updates since launching a month ago. The background music is really nice, and would be something I'd probably put on in the background to clean my actual house to. Which I should be doing. But right now I'd rather clean a world where shipping boxes are nonexistent, glass is indestructible, ice cream never melts, and corndogs can be served off the floor. There's three levels. A convenience store, a sweets/stuffed animal shop, and a supermarket. The convenience store is really small, but has a ton of items and averages out to about 2 hours using abilities. The sweets shop has a LOT of candy but also a ton of cute stuffed animals that I wish we had more of in America. There is absolute freedom of where you can place the stuffed animals, which has its pros and cons. You can organize them however you like, two shelves per plush and I ended up organizing them in color order. However, it makes it frustratingly easy to misplace an item in several different spots if you're not paying attention. The supermarket is the main draw, and the game's abilities seem to be polished towards it's progression more than the previous two levels. Each area has SUPER OBVIOUS items to put away to get you started, and this one is no different with the several gigantic, easily findable stuffed creatures. Glowing objects are easier to see here since the level has warm, wood tones instead of a white tile floor. Some absolute praises for the game: CONTROLLER SUPPORT! Thank you so much for having full controller support. Removed GenAI assets! I turned down other games in the genre for this reason. Items have a clear front and back texture, which the dev went through and fixed to make items more easily identifiable, like cigarette packs and magazine covers. The game is BRIGHT and COLORFUL! I love the shine on the packages of noodles and some of the drinks. The brightness and color make it difficult to see the glowing effect, HOWEVER the developer added an option to customize the color of the glowing objects. I found yellow works best for me. I like that everything is Japanese based, however there are clear English signs to place items, and each item has an English translation when held. The indication for getting an item in the correct space is disguised as a price tag. The different color tags make it very easy to figure out what has and hasn't been stocked properly. Some cons about the game: Putting away drinks in the Konbini level could use some work. The autosorter will put away the drinks, but it seems like there's no rhyme or reason to their location, so putting any drinks away by hand if there's already stuff on the shelf is difficult. Cans mixed with bottles, tea mixed with coffee, and the different sized bottles you can hardly tell apart UNLESS they're put on the shelf made the end of my first cleanup annoying instead of satisfying. The store's shelf advertisements are cute and make the place feel more realistic, but some are too big and block the view of the item placed. The upgrade system needs some balancing. In the Konbini and Sweets levels, you upgrade so fast that it seems pointless, like you don't really earn it. They're also such small levels that having a sprint upgrade doesn't make sense. I didn't use the walk through walls upgrade at all either. Some suggestions for quality-of-life improvements: Picking up items one by one (using a controller, probably easier with a mouse) is time consuming. An upgrade to scoop up multiple items from a pile at once would be handy, especially for the supermarket level. (aside from the device that automatically puts the items in your hand if you pay). Sensing where items go on a shelf. I love that I can place items anywhere in a large dedicated section, but it would be nice to also have a 'default' layout that the autosorter follows, if that'd even be possible. There's a lot of money and stars left over once you're done upgrading (less than halfway through a level for me), and it would be nice if they could go to pricier bonuses. Some bugs: The game is a month old as of typing this. The startup crash fix works for me and I've had no other crashes in the game. I've had items invisibly stack on a shelf, without allowing me to place the last item. Closing and reopening the game fixed this though. Once you get a star from fully stocking an item, you can pick up each item and put them on a different shelf and get another star. Definitely doesn't seem intended. Overall, I liked this as my first little cleanup game. First if I'm not counting Viscera Cleanup Detail. I look forward to their next Witchy themed game already.

Super cute and so relaxing! Such a simple concept but it's so much fun and cozy. Great price too!
I've tried a lot of games of this kind, and this is definitely one of the better ones. It's really well made, with a pleasant UI and a well-designed environment that makes the whole cleanup process very satisfying. On top of that, the developer is extremely responsive and really listens to player feedback. Definitely recommended!
