Good city builder but needs tweaking, I am happy to see how it develops.
Dont buy, game is dead
I've read a few of the comments describing this game as difficult and while yes my first play through I got slaughtered as I was learning controls, didn't build up nearly fast enough all while wasting my time exploring scenery. My 2nd play through was much easier as now I knew what I was doing, I knew that I had a timer and was going to get attacked in the first place...it's a fairly easy game. Kind of lack luster at the moment but could possibly end up being good depending on the devs. Right now at 10 bucks it's not a bad price but it took me 4 hours to get to a point that I had experienced everything and there was no further to go. My rule of thumb is usually a dollar per hour on a game makes it worth it, so as of right now I wouldn't reccomend buying it unless you're into the genre then it's not bad and will hopefully provide a bit more as the devs get to it.

(05.03.21) In short: A nice Game, but you REALLY feel the early access. Its still a long path until its finished. Be aware of that. The good: - A nice city building sim in medieval fantasy style - The playstyle and the colors feel a bit more calming and charming than most other games of this genre - I really like the 3D-models of the buildings The bad (at the moment): - Massive pathfinding bugs (After I reached ~50 villagers nearly all of them stopped randomly again and again and I had to move them manually and reassign them to their tasks - and even that did not work for all of them. I assume its somehow connected to the streets) - Other AI bugs (In fights most of my archers stopped firing, just one single archer kept firing at the target. Sometimes when I move them, half of them get lost at the way and I have to pick them up one by one again and order them again to move) - The music gets annoying very fast. I recommend to turn it down and start some of your own fantasy music My wishes for the future of this game: - Other more suitable music - Fixing the AI bugs - Fixing the UI bugs (For exaple: If you select a villager and click on "Show Stats" it often randomly switches to another villager) - Better UI and Menu (For example: PLEASE add a safety question if you click on "Leave". I dont want to quit my unsaved game by accident) - Better markers for what villager you have selected and what he/she is assigned to - More content for lategame - More diverse models for buildings, for a better look of the city - Please allow buildings to overlap a bit (I was able to create a beautiful little city, but just because I abused a glitch with the (II)-button. It would be nice to do so without abusing glitches) - Please allow to build in the forest area (I was just able to do so because of the glitch) - I mean, how useful is a forestry, if you cannot place it in the forest?) - Change the models of the tower so it feels like a real tower My wishes for the future of this game at release: - Larger maps - Different factions that are located ON the map and not outside the border, so you can really fight them or maybe trade with them - Other models and playstyles for the monster spawns, so it feels a little bit more authentic - Maybe (if its possible with the programming of the game) adding different height levels. it does not have to be this much, but this creates a much more authentic feeling - If this isnt possible, at least add some larger hills/mountains that cannot be passed (just for the visuals) I like the game, but currently its barely playable. I'm looking forward to the next patches :)
Game starts amazing, But lacks real progression... would be great if you could upgrade individual structures maybe a rank system ? level 3 town hall ect ? or make foot paths not purely cosmetic ( units move faster on them ? not sure ) trying to move large groups of troops feels clunky. Would be great if each unit had a small white circle around the base. overall 6/10 !
This is a tech demo at best. The music is grating, the ui is difficult to navigate and use and there's not much to do.
I like the game so far tho you quickly run out of things to do once you figure out how the game works.
pre alpha at best
It is really not my game. I play a lot of EA and i like strategy games, but this didn't appeal to me at all. The graphics are not my style and very simplistic, the music (sorry!) is simply aweful, i had to deactivate it after 10 minutes because it was just unnervingly bad. There was no fun to be had for me. Refunded.
shame it was abandoned before it became a good game.
