Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Grab your bike, pedal off and beat back the Greed to save your town. Kingdom Eighties is a story-based tower defense spin-off to the award-winning Kingdom series set in the ‘80s. This is a singleplayer and local co-op (or online co-op via Steam Remote Play Together) adventure with base building and strategy elements, rad aesthetics and a soundtrack inspired by the sweet synth tunes of the ‘80s.
Something disturbing has broken free from the shadows and it's up to you as The Leader to drive the evil back by recruiting your friends and other kids from the neighborhood. Together you will build your defenses and protect the town from the relentless attacks by the mysterious Greed monsters that are trying to steal your family heirloom, the Crown of Creation. For what nefarious purposes, who knows?
Gather your three unique companions, each with special skills, and recruit other kids to build defenses, collect coins and… run a lemonade stand and a pizza shop (among many other things)! Manage the people you recruit, unlock tools and more importantly gear your crew up for the horrors that come at night.
A force, dormant for centuries, has somehow broken free in the ‘80s; Kingdom Eighties is a comic-sized story about the small town Monarch that has come under threat by an unknown evil. It has fallen upon you, as The Leader, to defend it and save the day. Rally the Summer Camp when an evil force of goopy Greed monsters attack and try to break your defenses. Where did they come from and where the heck are all the adults? Uncover clues and discover what happened to everybody else as you repel and fight the Greed back.
Kingdom's iconic, handcrafted art style is back, now with a neon touch coming directly from the ‘80s aesthetics. Chill and vibe with the synthy OST from Andreas Hald, and travel back to the wonder days of bike riding and summer camps, when everything seemed possible.
In the true arcade style, Kingdom Eighties features a new game mode: Survival Mixtapes! Bring your best tactics and strategies to fend off progressively harder waves of Greed in four different episodes including “Back to the Suburbs” and “Greed, First Goo”. Make on-the-fly decisions as certain buildings’ special abilities are disabled and levels feature random mounts. This game mode is sure to put your skills to the test!
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

I have been playing the franchise (on various platforms) since New Lands and I have to say this is my absolute favorite. I love Two Crowns, but they've really got it impressively fine-tuned here. I have no complaints whatsoever with the 80s experience and I hope they take a lot of the mechanical strides they made and apply them to Kingdom III.
Solid several hours of fun, worth it if its on sale

Amazing game W studio
Good storyline, the new tech is kinda fun
Kingdom. En: The Kingdom Eighties game is a complete rip-off of the legendary Kindgom and Kingdom New Lands (and as a veteran of these two games, I can speak with authority), but it's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, I would argue that this game is much more dynamic than the original Kingdom. The transportation system has undergone positive changes, allowing you to restore your stamina regardless of your location when you stop. As someone who enjoys running around the map from one end to the other, it was a great pleasure for me to recover from a long journey and immediately continue at the same speed! Let's return to the game's dynamics: the Fast (non-peaceful) difficulty level is particularly notable for its fast-paced gameplay, as the independence from the Knights (which caused numerous issues in the original game) allows you to clear the map of Portals and complete the main objective of the Location without purchasing these virtually useless warriors. In particular, of course, I also really liked the feature of the appearance of "friends" who literally drag the entire game with them (especially the Smarty with his mobile Laser), you literally don't need to recruit a "large" number of children, as soon as you get the Smarty on the third level, you create his weapon of death, and no one can stand in your way. This game can be completed in a couple of hours (if you don't play for 50+ days in one location (~3h20min), you can complete it in 2-2.5 hours). Since I just love getting achievements in Kingdom starting from the first locations (islands), I was especially happy when, literally, by the end of the first location, I had already completed a third of all the achievements. I wish the publishers and developers to continue developing the game beyond creating an endless mode, and they could consider creating a sequel or an alternative story. I really enjoyed the game, and I recommend it to all fans of small builders/archers, as well as those who love old Kingdom games.

Stranger Things : The Game
A great spin-off in the Kingdom universe, featuring a cool story and a runtime of about 8 hours. I’ve played the other Kingdom games, and I think this is the best one to start with to learn the mechanics and so on. A great tower defense/city builder that also has a story? I really enjoyed it and recommend it!
