Its a miracle a game can be 13 years old and flat out not work. Missing integral files to load into the singleplayer mode in the current build. Crashes on any mode, nothing works, no players.
Sequel!

«King Arthur’s Gold» (KAG) — это симулятор средневекового стройбата, который внезапно оказался на линии фронта. Представь, что «Terraria» и «Worms» встретились в баре, перебрали эля и решили устроить массовую драку стенка на стенку.

спасибо разработчику, это была моя одна из самых первых игр в сфере steam. Обидно что обновлений больше нету и игроков
King Arthur's Gold is a multiplayer action game that combines side-scrolling combat, castle building and chaotic team-based battles. I can play as different classes and work with my team to attack enemy strongholds, defend our own base and manipulate the environment to gain an advantage. The combination of construction and combat gives it a much more interesting identity than a standard platforming action game. The biggest strength for me is the interaction between building and fighting. As the Builder, I can construct walls, traps and defensive structures, while other classes focus more directly on combat. This means that a good team is not simply made up of players who are good at attacking; everyone can contribute in different ways. The destructible environments make battles particularly unpredictable. Enemy structures can be broken apart, tunnels can be created and defensive positions can change during a match. I like that the battlefield is not completely fixed because successful teams can actively reshape it to suit their strategy. The class system also gives the game variety. Different roles have different abilities and responsibilities, so switching between them can change how I approach a match. The combat-focused classes can be exciting when fights become chaotic, while the building-oriented gameplay provides a more tactical alternative. The multiplayer experience is where the game really shines. Coordinating with teammates to break through an enemy fortress or successfully defend an important position can create some genuinely memorable moments. The physics and destructible environments also mean that unexpected things can happen, which keeps matches from feeling completely scripted. The biggest weakness is the learning curve. There are a lot of small mechanics to understand, particularly when building structures and learning how the different classes work together. New players can struggle when facing experienced teams that already understand efficient building and combat strategies. The player population can also affect the experience significantly. Multiplayer games depend on having enough active players, and matches are much more enjoyable when there is a healthy community. A smaller player base can make it harder to find consistently populated games and can lead to repeated encounters with experienced players. The presentation is simple but charming. The pixel-art style fits the chaotic medieval setting well, and the readable visuals make it relatively easy to understand what is happening even when a battle becomes hectic. The graphics may look dated, but the distinctive style still gives the game plenty of character. Overall, King Arthur's Gold is a creative multiplayer action game that combines combat and construction in a way that still feels unusual. I love the destructible environments, class variety and team-based strategy, while the learning curve and dependence on an active player base can make it difficult to get into. When a coordinated team battle comes together, though, it can be incredibly fun. Rating: 7.7/10
