Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.

Warning: Asset Flip!
KILLGUN is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Hunt Studio, took the Definitive FPS Kit game assets from the real developers, BlackWAVE, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Hunt Studio has a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work.An example of Hunt Studio doing this is Broken World, which is really "Ultimate Multiplayer Survival Pack", written by the actual developers, Dreamrise Studios. Also, Broken Time, which is really "Polygon Apocalypse Wasteland", developed by Synty Studios. The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Definitive FPS Kit" is just an Unreal Marketplace FPS construction kit that the developer lazily populated with a bunch of other plagiarized assets to try mislead gamers into thinking that he created them, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game. It's just a minimum viable product, just enough to get through the non-existent quality control on Steam Direct. Not a real game. Here's some of the other plagiarised assets that were used to make this Digital Homicide style kitbash, as the developer aggressively seeks to get YOUR money for these assets from real developers:

"Chinese Alley Environment" from Leartes Studios
"Colonial Convent Church Environment" from Leartes Studios
"Research Tent Environment" from FreshCan
"Game and Entertainment Area" from Barrel Bark Interactive
"Ghouls Mega Bundle" from Quantum Assets
"Neon City Complete Pack" from SilverTm
"Retro Police Station Environment" from Leartes Studios
"Retropunk Salooon Environment" from Leartes Studios
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. This is proof of an unethical pattern of pushing plagiarized, copy + paste minimum effort fake games onto Steam, for profit. It's worth noting that a significant number of positive reviews arrived around the same time this launched, and that's not typical of the expected review pattern for a product this bad. These 'reviews' come from suspicious, dormant accounts with little activity outside of giving a fake looking thumbs up to this specific product (all with the same kind of wording). There's no hard evidence of review manipulation, but take the positive score with a grain of salt. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. Should you buy this game? Is it one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? KILLGUN has the ridiculous price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 16 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. There's enough defects and quality problems with this game that it's not worth recommending to gamers, but the unethical nature of the developer/their associates makes it completely impossible. Because this is just a fake game/cash grab scam, and due to the sheer unethical nature of the developer, you should avoid this completely. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Hunt Studio. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. On a purely unrelated note, recent US FTC rulings mean that review manipulation and fake reviews are now federal crimes. Interesting, isn't it? Regardless... take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Dear KillGun Dev Please go shoot a real gun for $300 instead of buying $300 worth of unreal engine assets with pre-bult lighting. Actually look critically at your own work and see that 50% could be removed with little to no changes to the core gameplay. This is an embarrassment. There is not a second of in game footage that isn't showing a animation or visual bug. Also, please actually hire a graphic and UI designer they will be happy with the moss that grows on the floor as payment. Let me know once you learned to remove the spoon from your grenade. Lovingly, ♥♥♥♥ you.
You just get to level 7 (which takes like 5 minutes) and the zombies stop coming and the game doesn't even bother to tell you that it is over. Not much of a game here. Cant recommend. I love the free aim and want to like this game, but there isn't even 10 minutes worth of content on this, plus the insane amount of bugs. Not worth it. Dont waste your time.
Killgun is currently being developed by one person, Some of the game assets were bought, That's completely fine by me, There's also daily updates that continues to polish the game even more, While it's a small indie game, I believe it can grow into something big overtime, Nothing is done in a single day, The developer working on this game is open for any suggestions, I recommend Killgun for anyone who formerly played cod zombie, While it's nothing like cod zombie, Give this game a year or two, with continuing development, It will grow into something big. I suggest adding a new weapons, better UI, Better attachments naming instead of the blank icons for weapons, Free switch between weapons and loadout instead of being restricted to money. solid 8/10
Очень прикольная игра с крутой графикой очень похоже на режим зомби с колды и есть свой уникальный режим аванпост
This game has a ton of potential, I’m super excited to see where it goes from here. Btw the AI mentioned in the game page description only amounts to a couple icons; the game itself is pure human engineering.
Decent little game. It's likely an Asset Flip game, but it's cheap as ever, and it's simple. Plus its brand new, so maybe new stuff will come later on.
