I love this genre and I've been looking forward to this particular game ever since I randomly stumbled across the trailer on YouTube a while back, but I'm sorry to say at least at launch this game sucks. The enemies offer absolutely zero challenge, the combat looks cool visually, but feels completely lifeless, on top of terrible sound design choices that convey absolutely no impact to hits enemies. Enemies at least it seemed to me randomly stopped taking damage, not that it mattered because they never seemed to actually hurt me. I'm pretty sure I tanked several hits from the ranged attacks. They would fire and my health didn't move an inch. The only enemy I fought that was even remotely challenging was the first boss, most of the challenge was from the fact that the Perry seemed to work selectively, and sometimes the boss or your own attacks could push you out of the bounds of the fight where you could no longer actually hurt. The boss. The boss. Visually main character looks cool and I like the idea of what the game is going for but definitely needed more work. And I really do hate saying that. Hopefully maybe with several updates the game can be fixed or potentially down the line with a sequel but definitely cannot recommend this one.

THIS GAME SUCK No button remap No frame rate limit Cool combat tho Also, why the character said Henshin, it so cliche. Like, the character is speaking English, there is no reason to say that, why can we just make some thing up like Armorize or Suit Up to better fit the story. Also, are you want to be copyright by TOEI
this game feels too simple its not interesting it might change later down the line but currently the combat feels too simple and it does not feel good to play it feels cheap too cheap and despite it being early access the potential of it getting better does not interest me since what it has on display is not worth any kind of money currently. Edit: this game is still too early to even feel functional most sounds in general are off sync and the visual basic and buggy. The UI looks low quality and adding a style meter that doesn't really matter because it doesn't really incentivize creative play since as stated previously the combat in its most basic form does not feel fun to play with.
This game is pretty bad. Says a lot that the second it got released it comes with a discount. Needs another year minimum to be something decent.
EDIT PART 2: While I'm still happy the dev was able to make this game. I can't give it a thumbs up. The game is so tedious. 2 levels filled with rounds and rounds of enemy battles. Each battles are filled with damage sponge enemies that spams their attacks. Each rounds ALWAYS have enemies that spams long range attacks. The spamming and amount of enemies wouldn't be so annoyingly tedious, if those enemies didn't have so much health. You can do multiple combos on many of these enemies, and they'll still be alive. Each battles takes forever and every few steps, theirs another battle. After 2 level filled with these battles. You get to the boss. The boss can be annoying too but they were fun for the most part. They're actually the only reason I kept on as long as I can....until STEIN13. This boss, idk man. It feels impossible to beat. Those who gotten to it, please let me know how you beat him, if you did. Here's some other nitpick that eventually got me more annoyed: 1. Quite a few times an enemy will block your path. And you will get stuck. Even if you try to dash or dodge in any other direction. 2. There's a battle later on that was so chaotic that it will randomly blow your character behind the boundary. Luckily, you can superspeed back in. 3. The movelist on your screen. The controls list too, but to a much lesser extent. Oh my god, you start the game annoyed that its there and then end the gameplay being super hateful that its there. They're already in the pause menu so I don't know why they're still there. You can click to remove most of the movelist. But it comes back. It ALWAYS comes back. Sometimes randomly, sometimes, if you're using a controller like me, its inevitable to be accidentally clicked on. It will 100% return in cutscenes. This game got some really cool cutscenes. Problem is, the movelist will return and block almost half of the screen and you can't remove it at all. And thats it. A decent effort at making a Kamen Rider game tho. May come back to it after more patches.
decepção.
Are you a Kamen Rider fan? Are you interested in supporting what is most likely a one-man dev team? Are you a person with enough Metacognition to Identify when you're being overly harsh to an indie title? if you answered yes to any of these just buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I know Y'all have 15 bucks, Gaming is a fairly privileged hobby and at the time of writing this it's on sale don't listen to the haters. its FUN and I really want whoever made this to keep making Games. best way to do that? support them.
I like this game, and the potential of a Kamen Rider inspired combat game is real. When it is at it's best, the combat is dynamic and furiously fast paced. At it's worse, it a buggy mess. In my single evening of playing it, I got stuck in the outer walls of fights three different times. I think at this point, I will come back and play this once it has had more patches. Though that will not fix the writing, which is painful, especially in comparison to the series that inspired it. I would advise the creator to hire a writer to redo the scenes and remove some of the references which are already dated. On an extra note though, I am also hoping for mod and skin support, once the bugs have been worked out, the potential of that is exciting.
Not too shabby from what i played so far. The writing isn't the best, but it's charming in a way. Overall, i like what's been accomplished.
This game is peak tokusatsu devil may cry
