In my opinion, Kernelbay is an almost perfect idle game. It is incredibly cozy, visually charming, and features a fantastic, relaxing soundscape. The progression is perfectly balanced - it is deeply satisfying to watch everything grow, without the pace ever feeling too slow or rushed. The artwork is beautiful, and I especially loved the temporary wallpapers the game offers - such a nice little touch. Everything feels lovingly handcrafted, and I was completely hooked during the first few hours. However, I noticed a slight shift after the first three levels. While the initial start was incredibly immersive, the following levels didn't quite capture that same visual magic for me. The overall length is perfectly fine for a game of this type, but I honestly wish there were a bit more to explore. I completed everything in about seven hours and would have welcomed more reasons to stick around longer. All in all, it was a wonderful experience that I enjoyed from start to finish. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, low-pressure companion that simply runs beautifully on the desktop

Very chill desktop idler. Catch fish, collect XP, level up, improve to move onto other maps. You bassically get a scene which you can resize and leave it on your desktop while doing something else while checking in from time to time how things are going. Nice little game.

群友推荐的小游戏，美术很不错，但好像完全没有宣发的样子，发售两个多月了，到现在评价只有40个。 一共六张地图，每张地图12种鱼，肝度很低，十个小时就能白金解锁一切，然后就能变成美妙的桌面陪伴。 全自动钓鱼全自动售卖，游戏自带环境白噪音，我还蛮喜欢的。 场景是3D的可以360度转动，选个合适的桌面壁纸甚至可以完美融入的样子。 但画面精度稍低，分辨率清晰度不能调整。

Not bad, just not very good. There isn't much to this "game" other than vibes. You barely interact with it, the island is just there to be watched and spun around. That's it. Everything else is just menu choices. No clicking to pick things up, no clicking to fish, nothing. I didn't even feel like it was a game to be played, more like something you just let play out before you. I have played MANY of these desktop games and this one became very fleeting. I bought it in the afternoon, left it on over night, and the games entire content was completed in the morning. It's not terrible, there's just not much to it. I would not recommend as there are so many other better desktop games out there.
