I really love it when a game has an in-universe explanation for you restarting at the last checkpoint after dying and it's executed so well here also the soundtrack is great, so are the visuals
8,5/10 Points positifs : -Un gameplay nerveux et bien exécuté. -Le level design : chaque écran est conçu de telle manière (placement des ennemis, construction du niveau, etc.) qu’il faut réfléchir aux différentes possibilités offertes par le jeu pour venir à bout de chaque tableau. Cela laisse beaucoup de place à la créativité du joueur. -La BO. -La DA. -Les personnages ainsi que l’histoire : c’est très agréable à suivre. Les twists sont surprenants, les personnages sont crédibles et le système de dialogue est original. Cependant, je trouve qu’il n’est pas assez mis à profit. J’apprécie également les efforts faits pour intégrer les éléments de gameplay à l’histoire. Points négatifs : -Je trouve dommage qu’avec un système de dialogue comme celui-ci, le jeu n’ait pas davantage intégré de divergences dans l’histoire en fonction de nos choix. Il existe quand même quelques différences selon certaines décisions, mais elles restent trop minimes à mon goût. -La difficulté du jeu de base : j’ai trouvé le jeu plutôt difficile en mode normal, mais pas suffisamment pour pousser le joueur à réfléchir à sa manière d’exécuter un tableau. C’est pourquoi j’ai préféré le mode difficile, qui m’a réellement poussé à innover dans ma façon de jouer et à découvrir toute la profondeur du gameplay. Overall : Katana ZERO est un jeu très court qui se laisse facilement parcourir, mais qui n’en reste pas moins une expérience enrichissante.
