Good game! Solid gameplay and excellent soundtrack.
Way better than I expected. This was a lot of fun to play, my only issues with it is that there are some things that aren't properly explained like controls and if you die you can't get the gold back even by going back through the level again. So you better not get a game over. Highly recommend for just some good fun, and throwbacks to story of Kalevala. Especially recommend for other Finnish people :D
It's fun for a few hours for a few euros. Hopefully the dev will keep on doing things like this.

Fun retro style arcade action platformer. Reminds me of old licensed platformers that were loosely based on the source material, in a lighthearted way. I enjoy this take on Kalevala where Väinämöinen just beats the crap out of everyone. I like the chaotic vibes, it's very fast paced. Music is nice too. Level and boss design is pretty lackluster, especially in later stages. The game gives you a bunch of fun tools for moving around but doesn't really utilise them (did you know you can jump on arrows to climb walls? Me neither!). It kinda gives the game an amateurish charm though, further enhancing the old school vibes. Some complaints: Why does money have invincibility frames when spawning AND flies all over the place? A lot of cash just flies off somewhere where you can't collect it and it's generally annoying to go fetch some coins that flew really far away. Please let me rebind the keys for changing spells and weapons.
At first I was worried that this game would be boring, but once you get the sword it becomes way more fun. I love the DuckTales pogo mechanic! I didn't have any issues with the gameplay aspects of the game, it's solid. The music ranges from ok to good, nothing really memorable, but nothing bad either. I think the artstyle is nice. The Finnish mythology aspect was the major selling point for me, it's very underutilized especially in the realm of gaming. As a person who has experience with retro games I managed to beat this in 2 hours. I enjoyed the time I spent with the game and felt like I got my money's worth, although I did get the -25% introductory discount. The full price is a bit too steep in my opinion for a game that skilled players can beat in two hours. *UPDATE* The price has been lowered by about 50%, the price is now very reasonable even without a discount.
Pros: I liked the Art style, Graphics, Sound Design, Controls and especially the Music :) Cons: The game is unfortunately very short, as I was longing for a longer game so I could get more use out of the power-up system. The game copies from a lot of classic 2d platformers of the classics but I don't see that as a bad thing :) I've hear about issues with the game but I really didn't have any crashes, major bugs or crashes what so ever. Overall: Short game, but still recommend it for retro lovers :) I'd give it a 8/10
Fun game.
This game has a nice look, cool pixel graphics. It reminds me of Shovel Knight and AVGN Adventures games.
Beautiful looking and sounding game! Great music. Couple minor issues dropping through some platforms here and there. Also maybe the last boss could use a better health indicator to see that you're actually doing damage. Or maybe it was bugged, I don't know.
The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” countries.
