About
Featuring a bite force more powerful than the Tyrannosaurus rex, prepare to welcome the first crocodile to the Jurassic World Evolution game franchise – the Deinosuchus.
Thrill your guests with 5 prehistoric species; the Deinosuchus, Postosuchus, Desmatosuchus, Styxosaurus, and Shonisaurus! Each species comes as a complete family unit and features bespoke interactions, and the first ever bioluminescent skins for the Styxosaurus juvenile. Build your own weathered coastal locations and expand your waterside operations with detailed scenery, signage, props, and Blueprints for your guests to enjoy.
This giant prehistoric crocodilian is the first of its kind in the Jurassic World Evolution game franchise. The Deinosuchus is a semi-aquatic predator that lurks in the water to ambush prey with a fierce deathroll attack. It’s long, broad snout, muscular tail, and quadrupedal walking style makes it versatile on land and in the water. The Deinosuchus is a must for your new waterfront enclosures!
This ancient cousin of modern crocodilians shares many common physical traits such as a robust skull, armoured skin, and a deadly jaw of dagger-like teeth. The bi-pedal family unit needs a mix of arid and wetland environments to thrive in your parks. Be careful it doesn’t escape; it tends to chase guests and hold them down with their front forelimbs.
Bring some calm to your park with a herbivorous distant relative of modern crocodiles. Stacked with defensive adaptions, the Desmatosuchus is effective at deterring potential predators with two large shoulder spikes, and a carapace formed with two rows of bony scutes.
Named after the mythical River Styx, this long-necked plesiosaur family unit introduces the first ever bioluminescent skins for a juvenile species in Jurassic World Evolution 3. Complementing the male variant with new distinctive patterns and colours, the juvenile also features a set of unique interactions making it a perfect addition for your waterfront inspired lagoon builds!
Enchant your lagoons with the Shonisaurus! This huge ichthyosaur from the Late Triassic period brings a full family unit to your parks. The all-new juvenile model has been carefully designed to maintain that classic rounded design with interactions tailored to its unique circular size.
From waterfront huts to boardwalk blueprints, the Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodilia Coast pack has everything you need to quickly build a stunning water’s edge area for your guests to relax; until a dinosaur escape that is! Or take advantage of a full wall kit, props, lights and signage to create a custom windswept area around your new species enclosures and lagoons!

paying 2 creatures that i already bought last game again is outrages without more crocodile content huge waste of potential
For starters, this DLC is as cheap as your average fastfood combo meal that you would get through grubhub. Alternatively, there are NECA figures/Funko Pops that are 2 to 3 times the price of this DLC. It really isn't as expensive as some would make it seem. 2: These types of DLC's go on sale all the time. If $15 is too much for you, you can always just wait for it to go 80% off. I'm sure you have a backlog to power through until it goes on sale. 3: As the [COAST] in the name "Crocodilia Coast" would suggest, this DLC comes with 2 marine reptiles. 4: To those who would say that we already bought the Styx and Shoni in the last game, a) JWE3 is a completely separate entity. b) The developers have ZERO obligation to make the 2 returning reptiles free. c) We're also getting 3 species never before seen in the JWE games with this DLC. d) The 2 returning animals are coming back as complete family units, with new models, skins, sounds, behaviors, and so on. e) Just a friendly reminder that we got 4 brand new species at launch that were completely free with the release of JWE3: Caiuajara, Lokiceratops, Patagotitan, and Psittacosaurus. f) Also wanna point out that we got several previously paid species at lauch for free, like Ankylodocus, Atrociraptor, Attenborosaurus, Dimetrodon, Dunkleosteus, Geosterbergia, Kronosaurus, Lystrosaurus, Megalodon, Microceratus, Moros intrepidus, Oviraptor, Pyroraptor, Quetzlalcoatlus, Scorpius rex, Spinoceratops, Spinoraptor, Stegoceratops, Therizinosaurus, Utahraptor, and Yutyrannus. Aside from the hybrids, all of them have returned as complete family units. g) 2 other species that returned which were part of paid DLC's from the last game include Deinocheirus and Minmi, meaning there's still a chance that other paid species will be coming back for free. 5: No, species such as Kaprosuchus, Sarcosuchus, Gryposuchus, Parasuchus, Baurusuchus, and Barasuchus are not in this DLC. Doesn't mean that Frontier will refuse to add them later on. Just like how some players were vehemently adamant that Frontier would never add Deinosuchus to the game, I'm sure they'll pop up eventually. 6: The new decorations are kinda nice, as are the Postosuchus and Desmatosuchus. And yes, just based off of its scale of awesomeness and the fact that the developers made a specific, brand new animation between the Deino and over 7 dozen other species, this croc alone is definitely worth $15, so just think of everything else as just a bunch of freebies.

While I do enjoy the new species, selling two species from one of JWE2's DLCs leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The price increase I am mixed on since this DLC does add more family units than the Wetlands, but as previously stated, two of those are from the previous games DLCs.
I dont care about the 15 dollar price i couldnt care less about price all i care about are the species you get and 5 species for 15 bucks is a great price and only two are returning and those two i never purchased in evolution 2 thank you frontier make more dlcs like this.
iam not jeff bezoz bro
The second species centric DLC for JWE 3 and boy is it controversial. While I have my issues with the returning species, on the whole I do recommend the pack to anyone who would like to see a bit more variety added to their parks. Like with my reviews for the second games DLCs, my focus is first and foremost on the creatures present. Lets rip the bandaid off, Shonisaurus and Styxosaurus were species from Game 2 that were added via PDLC. Im not gonna get in the weeds of Frontiers rather spotty record of giving us DLC species in free updates, but I will state that we were only promised Base-Game species from JWE 2 being given for free. That said, Im still not quite pleased with these animals. Mainly that they have little to no morphological dimorphism. The juveniles are good, and the animals are still fantastic additions, but without visual and silhouette differences between males and females is a bit disappointing. The other three, however, are quite good! Deinosuchus, the E-Ticket of this pack, is just a big alligator. And that is why I love it. It looks like a big gator, sounds like a big gator, acts like a big gator. Suitably easy to take care of, and complete with a unique interaction where it ambushes smaller species from the water. Hopefully Frontier will tweak things, I dislike heavily that it doesnt actually eat the prey it ambushes, nor do they count towards hunts. Postosuchus is my favorite animal present. It looks almost perfect, sounds guttural and almost primitive, and is a big old bully to smaller animals. Its kill animations are great, as are its socials. Adding much needed depth to the Triassic roster, this little (ish) guy has made me nostalgic for the good old days of Walking With Dinosaurs. Similarly, Desmatosuchus is great too. It sounds like a boar, is oddly belligerent, and looks really good if a bit silly. Though thats more an issue with the morphology of the actual species than a quirk of the design here. I love that the females of the species have the bigger spikes, and the males are simply flashier with a bit more pigment. And the shoulder-checks are just a good detail to top it all off. In addition to the species, you will receive a...strange decor choice pack. A New-England Coastal town. I know that we had just gotten swamp-shanties and bayou stuff last species pack, but this just feels...off. They look good, dont get me wrong they just clash a bit with the added species in my opinion. Overall, if I had to give this pack a not-so-helpful numerical score, a solid 7/10. Recommended, yes, but the 15$ price tag can make or break you. If you really want some crocs to liven up your park, go for it. If not, wait for a sale to round out your collection.
Prós: * As 3 novas espécies são lindas, realistas, têm ótimas animações e trazem diversidade: • Deinosuchus: Crocodilo predador gigante do cretáceo que embosca presas que estão bebendo água; • Postosuchus: Um predador menor do triássico, parente distante e bípede dos crocodilos, com ótimas animações; • Desmatosuchus: Outro parente distante dos crocodilos, também do triássico, mas herbívoro, parece uma mistura de tatu com anquilossauro com crocodilo, com certeza um dos herbívoros mais interessantes do jogo!; * Nova decoração: Itens de cenário com tema costeiro nos permite decorar melhor as praias; Neutro: * O retorno de espécies de DLCs do JWE2: eu nem gosto ou desgosto, na verdade eu entendo que requer trabalho trazer elas de volta com seus bebês, e por isso não seria de graça, mas a Frontier deveria pensar uma forma diferente de trazer elas de volta e deixá-las mais interessantes, pois elas não são mais novidades e encarecem mais o pacote, certamente seria melhor se eles caprichassem mais no dimorfismo sexual, ou, ainda melhor, atualizassem os modelos, não mudando completamente, mas melhorando, para ficar ainda mais atrativo. Na DLC tem o Shonisaurus e o Styxosaurus; Contras: * Decoração: apesar das novas peças de cenários serem legais, fazem falta decorações focadas nos animais, como estátuas, placas, painéis, etc.; * Isso aqui foi SACANAGEM: Colocaram 2 novas fontes na DLC, uma delas é bem pequena, algo que a comunidade quer há muito tempo, já que as letras no jogo são enormes e o jogo precisa de letras menores. Achei absurdo que, quando finalmente vão adicionar fontes menores, não colocaram na atualização gratuita, então o jogador que quiser usar letras menores tem que pagar por isso?!! Absurdo!; * O Deinosuchus não luta com terópodes gigantes como T. rex e Espinossauro JP3, ele foge com medo, acho que deveriam deixar ele lutar;
I'm tired of flat, lifeless guests. The dinos are great. The guests are in rollercoaster tycoon would be a huge upgrade compared to what we got here.
ive not put alota time into this DLC yet but , the 1st thing i did was Put Coelophysis and the new Postosuchus in the same enclosure and while i wasn't expecting them to be friendly (they can co-habit mood wise), when they do fight Coelophysis seems to just have an aneurism and die and not actually have an animation between the two , which kinda pulled me out the experience, which is a shame bc of all the combinations of creatures you could have this was one i was looking forward too what with them having shared history
