Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade

The only gacha I play and it's purely because of JJK being attached to it. I didn't own a mobile account and steam/PC is where I started so I haven't been burned as bad as other reviewers, but it is pretty terrible that I can't transfer between this version and mobile if I ever wanted to. I thought it was pretty generous for the first 20 hours or so as focusing on the story gave a fair amount of free cubes, but I did hit a wall where there was little I could do as my characters were too weak for some of the optional quests. There is quite a big difficulty spike and I imagine a lot of players will hit the same wall eventually, but I personally like the game enough to keep coming back to it.

Overall a gacha that I'm pretty satisfied with. My only complaint is that the PC port of this game can be pretty slow from time to time, and many times if I try to actually get into the game directly after startup it'll freeze and I'll have to restart the software. The gacha can also get to be kind of greedy but that's kind of a standard feature for these types of games. You can tell that a lot of love was put into this game though, and that the devs know their stuff. For instance, toji's heavenly restriction is accounted for by none of his moves costing any meter (except his ultimate) and the way that they implement gojo's infinity into his units is really cool. I've been a huge fan of the anime and the manga for years, and I think that in this game's non-canon cutscenes that all of the characters are written very similarly to how they would be in the source material. The presence of fully animated cutscenes from the anime are cool too, but what's even cooler is the animations that were made specifically for this game.. I got a real kick outta those. Overall though, I think this game is very kewl with a couple minor bugs and a big & greedy gacha but it's worth playing if you're a fan of the series.
