Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Another world needed a hero. It got you instead: no gear, no coin, starting from the bottom with an F-Rank stamp on your Adventurer's Guild License. Journeybound Idle is a fantasy idle RPG about the long climb from being a F-Rank rookie to an S-Rank legend, one log, one ore, and one monster at a time.
There are no cheat powers in this new life of yours. Chop, mine, fish, and forage across wild territories. Smith, cook, fletch, tailor, and brew what you gather into gear worth carrying. Work the task board, slay enemies, pass promotion exams, and earn your way into deadlier territories. Queue up work while you watch, or let the game run in the corner of your screen using the desktop widget while you live your life. The Guild keeps the ledger either way.

A Guild career from Rank F to Rank S. This is not a small, or short, idle game. Seven ranks of tasks, milestones, and promotion exams, each opening new regions, gear, and enemies. Stories to experience, friends to meet, and a journey to a realm beyond your own.
17 skills to level. Martial, Ranged, Incantation, and Fortitude carry you in combat. Grovecraft, Stonecraft, Tidecraft, and Wyldcraft supply your materials; Blacksmithing, Cooking, Fletching, Artisanry, Tailoring, Willbending, and Alchemy turn them into gear worth carrying. Round it out with a growing farmstead and the Sanctum, where offerings unlock a grid for discoverable relics and their bonuses.
165 monsters across 32 hunting grounds. Your enemies will use combat styles as well. With the auto-battle style system, you will face all sorts of special attacks, ailments, and resistances. Tons of rare loot is waiting to be farmed and found!
8 dungeons. Prove each promotion in the field, then face the endgame trials. You will be auto-eating your meals and auto-drinking a wide variety of potions to survive. Slot in up to five different unique abilities of the 32, many with varying ranks and ways to be unlocked. You will have plenty of strategizing to do if you want to maximize efficiency.
114 discovery quests. A town of recurring characters with their own arcs, tavern rumors worth chasing, and a story that follows your whole career. Come to know many new friends! Help them, and see how they help you in return. Your story is your journey, and it will span from Hearthhome into realms unknown.
1,300+ items. Weapons, armor, tools, potions, food, and boss relics, with a collection log tracking every last one. There are tons of unique and special items to discover in Journeybound. Each was designed with a purpose and use, ensuring a constant stream of upgrades as you progress.
Companions and a farmstead. Hire companions, pay them an hourly gold wage for their assistance. The friends you make on your journey may also offer to help you gather and craft. Unlock slots and have up to three companions at a time! Your farmstead grows alongside you. Unlock new plots and ways to automate your farm, and plant crops that keep producing even while the game is closed.
An estate to claim. Restore the Keep and awaken the Sanctum beneath for permanent power that carries the late game. A true stretch goal, the Keep's bonuses are balanced to be worth the investment.
A proper tavern. Minigames & Music! Play dice, blackjack, and rune wheels while chopping trees or fighting goblins. Bet your accumulated gold, and see if you can hit the x5,000 jackpot on the rune wheels.
Desktop widget mode. Shrink the whole game into a small always-on-top widget and let your adventurer work the edge of your screen. It will reflect the UI theme you choose, and display notifications for in-game events, so you never miss a thing.

Hello! I'm Nick, the solo indie developer of Journeybound Idle. I've spent an absurd number of hours designing and creating this game, and I couldn't be more excited to finally bring it to you. It's my first game, so I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did making it.
I wanted to write a quick note about a few things. First, the positives: This game has absolutely no data collection or telemetry of any kind. I am tired of games taking and selling our data. I refuse to take part in such practices, so you'll notice my game has no need for a Privacy Policy. The same goes for having absolutely no pay-to-win microtransactions, forced time gating, or similar practices. You can just play the game, as it should be. My game has one optional Supporter Pack DLC, which only includes a UI theme and an alterative soundtrack. Many months ago, I considered launching in Early Access, but decided instead to spend many sleepless nights and bring you the entire, complete game from day one.
I also want to be upfront about the negatives. As a solo developer, I unfortunately cannot afford to hire artists or creators, so the media in my game is a mix of AI-generated and hand-edited/crafted. I would love to have my assets professionally made, but the cost of somewhere around two thousand icons, portraits, and other media assets would be far more than I can afford as just some guy working alone. I've done my best to create the best art and sounds with the tools I have access to, trying extremely hard to make things you will enjoy. If this game were to ever be successful enough, I'd love to hire professional artists one day to remake my assets (and for my future games). I thank you for your understanding, and I hope the game is good enough to get me there eventually!

LOVE the game. It's such an epic idler, way better then Melvor or any other skill-advance idler. The developer is also super awesome and listens to the community. This game has everything, every other idler needs like the queue system. There actually is story in the game also! #Moraine Pro's: - LOVE the "QUEUE" system, just what every idler like this needs. Let me explain: You basically Queue Mine 100 Tin, Mine 100 Copper and 100 Smelt Bars, Different skills work too! - Epic music, I'm humming the tunes now... it's addicting - Story of the game and specific characters - Good balanced skills & progress - Guild Rank system (so you don't progress every skill to fast, making it super balanced) - Artwork is good and fits the theme - Unique skills like Sanctum (very cool Relic system!) - Lot's of Achievements - Loads of quest (not instantly available but you'll have to search/discover them) - Companions to help you gather resources or do tasks - Lots of "hidden" things to be discovered by doing XYZ Cons: / hvn't found any yet There is soooo much in this game, you won't know what to do at some point (in a positive way), it's not overwhelming.
Highly overpriced. You can find equivalent or better idle rpg's for cheaper. Even at the current price of 20% off this one is still extremely overpriced. I will expand on my "You can find equivalent or better idle rpg's for cheaper" claim. Journeybound Idle costs 12.99 with no discount. Better or equivalent than Journeybound Idle

The Ash Remembers costs 11.99 with no discount.
Melvor Idle costs 9.99 with no discount.
Fractured Realms costs 8.99 with no discount.
Visseron Idle costs 2.99 with no discount.
All six of these are just as good or better than this game and they cost less. Hence the claim of being overpriced. The dev wants us to think that Journeybound Idle is a better value than Melvor Idle? The game he is copying (just like the rest in my list). To the devs comment of just one hour played. I run all of these with Cheat Engine's Speed Hack. So my actual time played in game is much longer. I have for sure seen enough of what Journeybound Idle has to offer to make the claim it is overpriced.

I don't make reviews very often. It's rather rare, but I gotta say, I am loving this game already. I honestly want the dev to add more ways for me to support them. I'm used to whaling in most games I play, but that's like not a thing at all in this game. I like to support games I enjoy. I never thought I'd ever say this, but I want the dev to give me an option to give them more money. This game is so well designed and it's so relaxing. I can play it my way and there's literally nothing wrong with that in any way. I choose to level every skill to the maximum before I try to work on combat skills to max, then I make sure I have every single item that is available for my rank collected. After I collect every possible item and have all skills fully leveled, I then will do the rank up dungeon. I intend to continue doing this until the end. The best part is that this game feels like it rewards doing that. TL;DR 9/10 Can't support dev enough, literally not enough options. Only downside imo.
This game is amazing and just what I was looking for in and incremental idler skiller game. I had 100% Melvor Idle and Eldara and was looking for something else to play. This has been well worth the cost. There are many activities in this game, there are companions to help you skill and the game seems very polished. Would definitely recommend.
This is a text RPG like Melvor but it's not truely idle. Combat is not idle and other skills require a companion that works for gold. Quite interesting anyway, I like the hidden quests. The game is suited for active play because there is a lot of quick quests. Quite expensive though even with a discount. Upd: the queue works between different skills but you gotta shift+click to add to the queue. Also I should clarify that truely idle in my opinion is when the game plays offline and it's so here only for companions and they are not for combat.
i tried playing games like this before and its my first time pushing through with it. UI layout is really clean and not confusing which is the BEST point for me Game can be overwhelming at first for someone like me who who tried to play a game like this and gave up.. but just tinker around, do some clicking here and there and you'll get to it in no time. There's much more to explore, waiting to see what happens in time.
Solid Melvor-like skilling game. Does some things differently, such as discoveries and events. You can find a random event that unlocks a hidden zone or secret recipe. The game also offers a queue system and companions which can gather for you. I'm only an hour or so into the game so there is plenty I haven't even seen yet. The game also has a solid soundtrack. I purchased the DLC as well and the 8 extra tracks are great.
Very chill Idle RPG with a tiny but rewarding learning curve if you haven't played other games like this. Skills fit the world perfectly and you can usually see the benefit of your labor in two or three steps. Enemies and loot are unique and having multiple evolving builds seems to be the goal, making some interesting opportunities and challenges for boss dungeons (I basically only use ranged :P) Art is aesthetically pleasing and the soundtrack is icing on the cake. Would pay full price if dev would've let me.
good game good music make number go up make brain happy
Super cool game, very fun and very well thought out and tons of content. Fans of these kinds of games will be very happy with it. A lot of hidden things to find as well. All in all I give it 10/10!
