Super fun and relaxing game. The controls are simple to learn, and the physics are hilarious when you accidentally rotate the entire puzzle. I wish there was an option to vary the weirdness of puzzle shapes, lock the puzzle in place, or select multiple pieces at a time. I also wish the puzzle pieces moved along with the section when you relocate it. Overall a great, simple, multiplayer puzzle game!

very chill game for puzzle enjoyers. i love the sorting rings and the overall mechanics. the game is also very realistic with glares and rotations. you do have to manually flip over pieces like in real life though, which is quite annoying. another fun thing is the ability to import custom pictures and have 5 save slots so you can work on multiple puzzles at the same time. overall, i would say this is a great game for anyone who likes jigsaw puzzles!

Really good puzzle sim that works well with other people. The ability to upload your own images is a nice touch too.

very good, i enjoy the physics and sound effects, and being able to import your own images is great! i also really like that none of the default images appear to be AI-generated

"Jgsw" is , well, probably the first jigsaw puzzle game on Steam I've come across that wasn't an aggressive asset flip/cash grab/scam. This is hard to describe exactly as a game, of course, it's more of a collaborative puzzle effort where you and friends can work on a puzzle together. In what should not be, but is, surprising, this isn't an attempt to scam gamers out of money for stock images stolen off the internet (I'm not kidding here, but most jigsaw "games" on Steam are just asset flips from a basic jigsaw game template and stolen/plagiarised stock photos). What do you do in the game? Assemble jigsaw puzzles alone or online with friends/family. You can also supply your own images, which I think is a great feature... and there's nothing stopping other jigsaw "developers" from doing the same, but then they wouldn't be getting YOUR money for someone else's stock photos. Visually this is "ok" but the UI is minimalist and uninteresting... it's serviceable but not remarkable or appealing to dedicated PC gamers. Given you can supply your own puzzle images (definitely a pro-move from the first ethical jigsaw "game" developer I've ever seen), to some extent if you don't like how it looks, it's your fault. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $9 USD for this. Charging $9 for something a web browser can do, and publishing it on Steam, which is for PC games, is a bit rich. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options... I'm also not going to recommend jigsaw puzzles to PC gamers. You can do these kinds of things in a browser. If you had to have a Steam jigsaw game (why???) this is the closest you'll get to a "maybe".
