Amazing game as always from Sonic Powered. One of the rare FMV (Full Motion Video) games of train simulators of real lines in Japan. This line is 8.9 km long. You can enjoy both the uphill and downhill sections of the Hakone Tozan Railway. There are two sets of situations; spring and autumn. In this game, you drive a train. The video is played back according to the speed you drive at. The video is smoother than in previous entries on switch and 3DS. When you stop, it's not frozen. There are movements of leaves etc. which gives the game a livelier feel. The game also ran more than fine on my iGPU (intel arc graphics from intel ultra 7 155H). Would wholeheartedly recommend this game, as it ran on my potato. Edit: There is one thing - the videos for the hakone cable car and pirate ship are around a minute and are promotional - not the full ride. Please upload a full ride video, developers.
主打 號誌站之字形行走 結果就用停一個終點站的感覺來做 一路上都是慢速 站與站之間距離雖然不長 但開很慢也開很久 建議不要刻意開快 算分數時準點時間很重要 開快會早到 就算停很好 評比還是會很差 跟前幾代比 這代比較忙 轉彎要忙灑水 路上要廣播 車掌廣播以往是高難度才會有 還好車速慢 就算忙也不會手忙腳亂 運轉路線就 一條線來回+春秋兩個風景 內容沒有算很多

I would never have guessed you could have this much fun driving 10 MPH.
It's wonderful! Operating slow trains in a beautiful environment has its own charme. Maybe you just have to be old enough. However, you operate the train up and downhill in Hakone area, once in spring and once in autum time. Plus you can unlock many additional information about the route. It's worth it! It doesn't sound much but the video footage is eye candy and so is the bonus (no spoilers here). I really much enjoy it and I think it's my favorite of the 3 games here in Steam. (Still waiting for the Meitestu DLCs, you hear, Sonic Powered? ;) ) For those asking for Zuiki or DGC-44U support - it doesn't make much sense. Those controllers run on P5B8 setup while this train here is P3, 3 electrical brake and 7 air brake levels plus EB. Feel free to mess with trying to get a setup to work but - for this, stick to the keyboard or other officially supported game pad layouts (I didn't try and I don't have one). Also please note who was involved in making this game. And if you suddenly feel to travel over there - they have done a really good job. I'd love to! At the end, I really much enjoy driving up and down this route in those seasons. .. I wonder if there is a winter setting some time ...

Finally another Japanese Rail Sim game available on Steam. I hope Sonic Powered will continue to release their games on Steam so PC users can also enjoy them. I also hope they will continue to release games and DLC's from the "Real Pro" series on PC/Steam. The game is a fun FMV train simulator with beautiful scenery. If you are interested in Japan or the Japanese railway then give it a try.
Please bring the other ones to the west as well!!!
IMO this and Journey to Kyoto are the best train sims on Steam, balancing a good FMV implementation, nice scenic routes (albeit small and kinda short), attention to detail, a smooth and well done game engine, and fun and engaging Densha de Go like gameplay, rewarding you to play perfectly. Compared to the trainwreck (heh) that is TS Classic or TSW, this is a well made, pick up and play, fun to complete 100%, game. Please port all the series to Steam, I will happily buy them all full price.
