Pretty relaxing puzzle game. Exactly what you would expect. Only way I would improve it is allowing movement with WASD as clicking all the time to go where you want can get annoying.

hard but fun :)
Fun little game to kill a bit of time. Worth a 1$
Simple puzzle game. Reminds me a lot of the puzzles in the Zelda games (Oracle of Time/Seasons? maybe, anyway on the Gameboy). If you enjoy these kind of maze games, then it's definitely worth checking out.
Isotiles

Time Played:
18 Minutes
Last Played:
23rd of November, 2025

After learning of the impossibility had in clearing all of Lumines Arise's Challenges through player agency, I wanted to dive into a calmer, slower-paced puzzle game that hopefully only needed logic to clear, rather than luck, or moving so fast nerve damage occurred. Unfortunately, this also had a fatal flaw that kept me from completing it...
Yay:
+ Minimalist art style charmed me. + Puzzles are purely based on logic, rather than luck, unlike the last thing I reviewed.
Meh:
= While I liked the instrumentation of the music, it was as meandering, listless, and undecipherable as the Luminous Cavern's theme in Castlevanaia: Harmony of Dissonance.
Nay:
- No controller support - Awkward handling, making precise control very difficult without tapping every move, as opposed to holding. - Mouse Control was even more unreliable, resulting from the fact routing to unintended tiles that cause a failure state.

Verdict:
When even following a walkthrough is not a reliable method to finish due to the unwieldy, slidy character handling, unless you've ample amounts of patience, coupled with tolerance of many non-player errors, I would not recommend you dive into this one.
Placed in:
5: Dourly-Dismissed.

Isotiles
Isotiles is an easy puzzle game where you aim to reach the exit while traversing all tiles with increasing mechanics to work around. It gives oldschool Bloxorz vibes and kinda plays similar but with a simpler goal.
Gameplay
This game's puzzles are really not that difficult, simply sliding around covering all tiles. Tiles that have multiple uses make you have to think for a second longer and keylocks make you complete the level in a specific order. It's pretty passable for a puzzle game but it's enjoyable for the 50 levels the game has. The only issue is the controls as the game lacks keyboard support it feels pretty wonky to play, you have to double click each time you want to move.
Achievements (10/10)
Achievements for completion of all levels.
Settings/Accessibility/Misc
Works on steamdeck but controls can be confusing, don't particularly recommend playing on Steamdeck because of this. No keyboard support. Level select available.
Check out my Curator page
