A single-player 3D survival crafting game. Shipwrecked in 1907 on a nameless island, you gather, build, and push your civilization from stone to electricity — then build a boat and gamble on the open sea. Even a raft can leave; arriving alive is another matter. Sink, and the island is still yours.

About
Gather. Build a ship. Bet your life.
The first campfire of the Stone Age. The first pour of molten iron. The day the machine starts breathing for you. The night the electric light kills the dark. Every era hands you a better ship — and a better chance of ever seeing the mainland again.
Island Escape is a single-player 3D survival crafting game. In 1907 your merchant ship goes down in the southern storm belt, and you wash ashore on a nameless island clinging to a piece of deck. By day you gather, craft, build and push your civilization forward. At any moment you may build a boat and gamble on the open sea — even a raft can leave. Whether you arrive alive depends entirely on how far you have come.
⚒️ TWO LOOPS: BUILD BY DAY, GAMBLE AT SEA
🏝️ The island loop (calm) — Gather → craft → build → advance the age → gather better. 63 items, 68 recipes, 17 buildings, from a stone axe all the way to a generator.
⛵ The voyage loop (tense) — Load the hold → set sail → read the sea → reach the mainland, or go down with the ship. A few minutes of real, hands-on sailing. No dice-roll popups.
🌊 Sinking is not a game over — The ship and the cargo are gone. Everything on the island is still yours. You swim back to South Bay and build something better. And on the next tide, the sea washes a message in a bottle ashore for you.
🔥 FOUR ERAS, FOUR WAYS TO LIVE
🪨 Stone — "Stay alive." A dead branch, a shard of rock, a handful of fiber: your first axe. Then the first fire, and the eyes in the dark back away.
⚙️ Iron — "I remember what humans can do." The furnace runs, the whole island flashes orange, and iron tools last three times as long as stone.
🚂 Steam — "The machine breathes for me." A steam drill mines the vein while you sleep, smoke rises, and the soundtrack gains an industrial layer on the spot.
💡 Electric — "I killed the night." A generator lights a corridor of lamp posts, and the glow spills onto the water — answering that very first campfire.
⛵ FOUR SHIPS, SIX SEAS
🛶 Raft / Sailboat / Steamship / Ironclad — Any of them can leave. Their odds are nothing alike.
🗺️ Coastal → Middle → Deep → Far seas → the mainland. Finish the game once and two more stretches open up beyond: the Black Water and the Doldrums.
🦈 12 sea events — Circling sharks, rogue wave walls, headwinds, a leaking hull, food and water running out, reefs, thick fog, the eye of the storm, an empty coal bunker. Every one of them asks you to decide, right now.
🐙 Two bosses — The sea serpent's lunge in the deep, the kraken's four tentacles in the far ocean. The rhythm is readable. You still only get one attempt.
🔧 Five fittings — Ballista, cannon, radar, keel, searchlight. Every slot of cargo you load before casting off is part of the bet.
📜 YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST ONE WASHED UP HERE
📖 24 blueprint pages — The Astrolabe wrecked on the same reef one hundred and twenty years ago. The journal of Elias, its old chart-maker, is scattered across wrecks, mountain halls, wetlands and the summit.
🗿 8 steles — Mechanics carved as verse: "A sail eats every wind but the one in its face."
🌌 The light on the mainland — On a clear night, from the highest point of the island, look north. There is a single, very faint light on the horizon. Nothing marks it. You find it yourself.
🏆 4 endings — Homecoming; Fortune's Favorite (reach the mainland on a raft); The Chart-Maker's Answer (finish with all 24 pages); Where the Heart Rests (choose to stay).
🌴 THERE IS A LIFE HERE TOO
🐐 Chase goats, 🦀 catch crabs, 🎣 fish, 🥥 pick coconuts — Nobody feeds you. Food is your problem.
🐺 Wolves hunt in packs at night — The light of a campfire or a lamp post is an absolute safe zone. But rain puts fires out, and then a torch or a firefly lantern is your second life.
🌦️ Day, night and weather — A full day runs 20 minutes. Rain kills your campfire and shuts down an open-air workbench — which is exactly when you start wanting a roof.
🌠 Island wonders — Migrating birds heading north, a bioluminescent tide, the silhouette of a distant ship on the horizon, a meteor shower.
👗 8 things to wear — Flower crown, shell necklace, hide cloak. Zero stats. Purely because they look good.
🔁 FINISHING IS THE BEGINNING
🌊 New Voyage (NG+) — Every completed run makes the crossing longer and the seas meaner: pale sharks in the Black Water, the fleet of the dead, both bosses in one stretch.
🏅 34 achievements — From "First Tool" to "Flawless Captain", hidden ones included.
