I got this game for free from a bundle and it's... odd. I'm not going to say it's an excellent game as it just isn't, and if you are looking for a game similar to this then Garden Paws is a great alternative. It's not what I'd call a bad game, it seems to me like they are/were trying to emulate a PC version of AC:NH and that's no easy task and this kind of gets there, but falls a little short for now. I will say though that if they added the ability to play as anything but a human, I'd likely like this game more. The reasons are many but the main one is the character you play as looks... odd. The other characters (NPC's) look surprisingly good and that just makes me want to play one more. If I were going to offer a suggestion to the developers, it would be to allow us to play as any race in the game. That would actually make it stand out from AC:NH and other games as the only ones I know of that allow this are the aforementioned Garden Paws and Sun Haven. There are others but those require modding which I don't believe this game has but please correct me if I am wrong. Overall I'd give the game a mixed review, leaning towards positive as I can see where they could go with this and it could be absolute gold if handled well. :D
