Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ION Shift is a fast-paced sci-fi action platformer that builds its identity around precision movement, tactical combat, and an unforgiving level of challenge. Developed and published by Electro Soul Games, the game places players in the role of a mysterious alien lifeform attempting to survive inside a sprawling spaceship overrun by hostile forces. Rather than emphasizing an elaborate narrative, the game focuses almost entirely on delivering engaging gameplay where every room presents another opportunity to test reflexes and adaptability. The futuristic industrial setting, combined with detailed pixel art and atmospheric lighting, creates an environment that feels dangerous from beginning to end while maintaining a distinctive retro-inspired visual style. The gameplay thrives on fluid mobility, encouraging players to constantly dash, jump, evade, and attack without ever remaining stationary for long. Movement is more than just a way to navigate levels—it becomes the foundation of combat itself. Encounters require players to weave through incoming fire, position themselves carefully, and strike at the perfect moment. The controls are responsive enough to support this demanding design, making victories feel genuinely earned rather than accidental. The addition of throwable weapons and environmental interactions gives each battle multiple approaches, allowing players to experiment with different strategies instead of relying on repetitive attack patterns. One of the game's most creative features is its implementation of friendly fire among enemies. Rather than simply avoiding incoming attacks, players are encouraged to manipulate enemy positioning so opposing forces eliminate one another. This transforms combat into a strategic exercise where awareness and timing are just as valuable as quick reflexes. Learning enemy behavior becomes essential, rewarding those who take the time to understand attack patterns and exploit the chaos unfolding around them. This mechanic adds welcome depth to encounters and helps distinguish ION Shift from many traditional action platformers that focus solely on direct combat. The level design supports the gameplay exceptionally well by introducing increasingly complex hazards and enemy combinations throughout the adventure. Each new area gradually expands upon previously learned mechanics without overwhelming players all at once. Deadly traps, automated defenses, and tightly designed platforming sequences demand consistent concentration, while the spaceship itself serves as an effective backdrop for the game's tense atmosphere. Progression feels satisfying because each challenge encourages players to refine their skills instead of relying on artificial upgrades or excessive hand-holding. Although the difficulty can be intimidating, failures usually feel like opportunities to improve rather than moments of unfair punishment. Visually, the game successfully blends retro pixel art with modern visual effects that enhance both presentation and gameplay clarity. Character animations are smooth, explosions carry satisfying impact, and environmental details help sell the illusion of a massive futuristic facility under constant conflict. The soundtrack complements the action with energetic electronic music that reinforces the intensity of combat while maintaining the game's science fiction identity. Despite placing gameplay above storytelling, the atmosphere consistently conveys isolation, danger, and the constant pressure of surviving against overwhelming odds. ION Shift ultimately succeeds by delivering a focused experience that rewards mastery above all else. It does not attempt to appeal to every type of player, instead embracing challenging gameplay that values precision, experimentation, and persistence. Its creative combat mechanics, satisfying movement system, and carefully designed encounters combine to create an action platformer that feels rewarding from beginning to end. Players looking for a demanding indie title that blends classic arcade sensibilities with modern gameplay ideas will likely find plenty to appreciate. While its steep learning curve may discourage newcomers seeking a more relaxed adventure, those willing to invest time into mastering its mechanics will discover an experience that is consistently engaging and highly satisfying.
brilliant music, heart pounding gameplay and lovely graphics up until the Devs realised it was too easy and turned it into a Bullet Hell game. The dev's have had to make this game progressively harder and harder until it becomes infuriatingly frustrating, and just like ALL other games which suffer from ramping levels of difficulty, it ceases to be fun at that point and reveals that the Devs are useless at level design. The aiming system is ridiculously inaccurate which has a massive effect on your ability to enjoy the game and there are no options to change the sensitivity of the controls except for a slider that seems to do very little and doesnt give you more control over the accuracy. As a part of the Humble 15 for 15 bundle, it seemed worth the price until you actually invested some time into it. Now however, its not installed and I doubt very much I will go back to it. A real shame and a complete waste of a great idea. This is how you ruin perfectly good games.
honestly, it was good but it made me want to eat my own flesh regurgitated it out as a living flesh monster kill 89% of the world then create an amalganation of hell and torture who made this till they begged mercy for sweet sweet death it was fun and creative but you cant upgrade , evolve and its kinda just the same thing over and over i like the stealth part but its more ragequit then fun out of ten 2/10 sorry just not my game
