About
A party game for 2-4 players! - Now with a Single Player Story as a free update!
Survive increasing hordes of enemies in this top-down shooter, switch between four unique gun types, and utilize wind-blasts, spider webs, and black holes to show these baddies who's boss!
Features:
Two maps and game modes: Fight alongside friends in the darkened Night Town district or try to outlive your couch-mates in the deep pit of The Dungeon!
Windblast alternative fire: All characters come equipped with a windblast to blow ninjas away (or closer to your adversaries!)
Four characters: Choose from four of the most well known fictional characters to have ever graced the page, each with their own unique starting gun!
Items change up the gameplay: Pick up guns and health for a boost of power, or sticky spider webs and deadly black holes to decide the flow of battle!
The Fall Of The Public Domain - Episode One: The Call
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's an average rabbit with an average job and an average sense that things- you know- things could be better.
Until the simple act of trying to go on a date mysteriously transports him to a dark, dusty cave where he meets a plethora of mysterious public domain characters and one enigmatic outlier with a strange agenda and a mountain of miniscule ninjas at his disposal. Who is Han Gorou? Why is he being followed by Merlin the Magician? What's with the mysterious young lady with the missing name? And is it AT ALL POSSIBLE that Oswald can avoid perpetual nuisance Mickey Mouse for longer than a single episode?
Only one way to find out.
Context
Ninjas- the more there are, they easier they are to kill. One hundred ninjas? No problem at all for your average protagonist. But when the one ninja shows up, you better watch your backside!
The Gyaku Ninja clan has finally taken notice and are using this Law of Fiction to their advantage, increasing their power to take over the planet! And now the Gods of Fiction are balancing the odds by sending their most iconic warriors to stop them!
Take control of some of the greatest fictional characters of all time:
Winnie the Pooh - Equipped with his iconic pop rifle and not nearly enough sense to not use it!
W. Sherlock Holmes - Deadly pistol in hand and aching for a distraction to tide him over to the next mystery.
Alice Liddel - Brought an Uzi she found on the floor. Odd! but stranger things have happened to her- and recently!
Sun Wukong - Heaven has chosen a unique way to punish his insolence this time, but the Monkey King's brought a grenade launcher to assist him!
??? - More characters with subsequent updates!
Join the fray while it's still early and be part of the creation of one of the greatest narrative brawls to have ever been squeezed between a front and back cover!

Brief play through of Single Player only - haven't tried multiplayer yet. Got this through Silksong news not being given. * Enjoyed the game so far. I found that I preferred using the mouse and keyboard to controller, though that's probably me not liking controllers in general. * Audio is clear, subtitles fine. However, when clicking through dialogue (this is present and good!) there are TWO small problems. 1 - it cuts the audio when you click through. Would it be possible to have this after clicking into the next line? 2 - during the Shadow Plays, it skips to the next line, rather than allowing you to read the full line. I will update this in future after a) keeping going through with the story and b) trying multiplayer.
Keeping in mind it's an early access game, it's pretty solid and fun to play. My only issues are that accessing the singleplayer mode is unclear since you have to select multiplayer, and there's no confirmation dialogue if you accidentally press the reset button. Other than those things, it's pretty good and i'm looking forward to seeing the future of this game.

You ever hear of the phrase "I like your moxie?" Well, This games beamin' whit-it! From the swing of the music, to the lovely voice acting, and really fun gameplay, the game will leave ya hootin' and hollerin' for more! though theres just one chapter to this lovely title, its absolutely filled to the brim with content, why, heck, you can even gather your buddies and play it together, after all, more hands the better! I definetly reccomend this game!
Really fun game!
Finished the whole first chapter in 30 minutes. Some bugs, some issues, some critisms, but beyond that a solid concept. I am looking forward for the other chapters if this game isnt abandoned!
I just finished it and i crave for more 10/10
* Please: ADD POPEYE NOW THAT IS 2025 * The game works well, looks good, sounds good, its easy to play, and its fun. HOWEVER, it DOES NOT have online multiplayer. So, if you want to play with friends, there is no other way but to have them all be present in the same place using the same device, each with a controller. The game is in early access, so lets hope that they add Online Multiplayer in the future. Otherwise the game is missing a big element, since while you can play it alone, it is clearly intended to play with friends, be it 2 or 4, and at present the only way to get the most out of the game is if everyone is in the same room. Playing alone gets old really quick. So, keep that in mind if you are planning to buy this to play with friends.
Good party game that makes use of public domain characters. There is no online multiplayer yet, but it’s planned. You can use remote play as a temporary alternative.
Been following the team for a few years now (around the time Steamboat Willie Mickey became public domain and the Mickey update was announced) and I was obsessed with this game since!!! The idea of public domain characters in a multiplayer shooter game is up my alley!!! And I'm glad to be following the project as I got a code from the dev team's Twitter making bets around another game. And honestly, while I haven't played much and I don't have a proper controller to play on, it's been really fun so far and the new update has honestly made me happy with there now being a story mode in a sense!!! Really excited for what else the dev team has in store for this game <3!!!
great game! i'm replaying it after getting a new pc and even after so long it has so much charm to itself :] i also remember when it firts came out and had lotta bugs but all of them seem to be fixed now! props to the dev, im honestly excited to see how the outside world will look like in chapter 2 but untill then i wish the dev all the good luck <3
