For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away.
Ultimately worth playing, but not at full price
From the trailer you can see what you're getting in terms of art and music. What you can't see from the trailer is a serviceable, although extremely straightforward 'person with amnesia' narrative, and playtime of ~1.5 hours. The experience is a fine way to pass time quickly, especially with how the control scheme can be changed in the settings (advance text with click is turned off by default), and the fast travel map and double click helps clear out the boring walking sessions between objectives and just lets you get to experimenting and learning. None of the puzzles are too brutal, although there was a puzzle towards the end that took me a sec to process. And the ending sequence is pretty laughable, as the silliest stealth sequence I've seen in a while. But overall if you're looking for a quick, light Saturday morning cartoon puzzler, feel free to pick it up when a sale hits the price point you think makes sense for you.
Fairly laid-back point and click. Most puzzles are solved by re-visiting areas of the map and opening new dialogue, but towards the latter section of the game you are introduced to some harder puzzles. The game centres around a town with other areas branching off from the main square. You are never more than a few clicks from one side of town to the other, so going back and forth to solve puzzles is not a problem. And you can double click doorways and alleys for instant access to avoid walking from one side to the other. Graphics and presentation are great. The game is so pleasant to look at with responsive controls and clicks. The story is intriguing and kept me interested. I especially liked the mystery of the game in the first two thirds and I only wish this section could have been extended for an hour or so with a few more locations. The soundtrack is really fitting and reminds me adventures of old. I like the dialogue controls as they remind of the Blackwell games with the talking heads. The only suggestion here is dialogue would be easier to take in if the conversation was broken up to either side of the screen. E.g., your portrait left, non-player character portrait right. One point of concern is there is no log/diary of your progress so ideally you should play this in one sitting or as few as possible. I’m looking forward to Aruma Studios’ next game. Intruder In Antiquonia is short at under 3 hours but was a worthy purchase. Awesome artwork with Samuel by the way. The other characters too, but especially Samuel in his green overhauls. I don't know why but his character portrait reminds me of Jack from Resident Evil 7.

This is a nice little point&click game, of medium duration. The story is initially compelling and we are gently accompanied at least in the first part of the story. Nice graphics and locations. Puzzles are usually easy but a few of them more difficult. Things I especially likes: - Support for ultra-wide screens, very nice to be able to see the whole scene without scrolling - Tab key to show hotspots, no pixel hunting - Double click an exit to use it instantly, greatly improves navigation. I found a few downsides though, not major but I think it'd help the developers for their next games: - the ";" key to skip dialogues is not convnient, very far away from the Tab key for example. ESC and left click are not alternative to skip dialogues which is unusual to me. I'd suggest to revise this so it is easier to skip dialogue and also have a way to go back into dialogue in case we skipped too fast or missed something. - some hints about puzzles are into the scene but should logically not be (i.e watering plant to get key with associated drawing). The story relies on such things on several occasions which detracts it from the believable path. - At some point the story becomes quite a bit confused. There are many characters, betrayals, hidden conversations, nicknames etc, I found all this confusing when we don't have the whole plot in mind (especially when playing on several occasions). It would be nice to have sort of a quest log recounting the story so we can read it if we didn't understand some story elements. I recommend this game though, nice puzzles and atmosphere, I had a good time playing it, support the developers!
Lo he disfrutado mucho.
Amnesia stories are usually good entertainment. Movies like Memento and The Long Kiss Goodnight. I've put off playing Intruder in Antiquonia for so long because the graphic style and character designs weren't really up my alley, but in the end I have to admit it was a really cool conspiracy story, albeit a bit on the cozy side. I finished it in a little under two hours, though I did have to do some digging regarding some puzzle solutions. Eventually I figured it all out and even though I'm still not a big fan of how it is all presented, I definitely had fun with it. I'm Sarah Campillo. Or at least that's the name on the ID I'm carrying. Until the local police figure out it's actually fake. So who am I, and where did I come from, and what exactly am I doing in this small town called Antiquonia where people seem to hate everything that has to do with computers and the internet? It's a mystery ready to be unraveled by resourceful adventure gamers. Probably too easy for most, but it will probably challenge newcomers to the genre. There are plenty of inventory puzzles and even one cool mechanical puzzle where you have to redirect wires in a breaker box. There aren't any voice-overs, but you can click through the dialogue manually if you don't want to wait for it to automatically progress. There's an autosave feature but you can also save manually (yay!). And you can double click on exits for fast travel. There's also a handy, though very basic map if you really want to jump between locations, but not all locations are on the map. For instance, you need to jump to the town centre and then enter the guesthouse or the store the regular way. Aruma Studios, developer of Intruder in Antiquonia, is currently working on a more old-school style, pixel art point 'n click adventure, Shadows in the Afterland, which looks amazing and which I hope to play one day, too! https://the-point-n-clicker.blogspot.com/2025/05/new-game-intruder-in-antiquonia.html
At first, it sounded interesting and I was keen to figure out who Sarah is. But as the game progressed, it became extremely boring and tedious (like running back and forth to get an item and to use it and to get the next one and use it). I ended up dragging myself through :-/ It appeared to me very hurried towards the end as if the developers ran out of time or money and had to finish it too soon. I am sorry, but I do not recommend it.
This is a lovely game, but it won't be challenging for most gamers. It's a beautifully drawn point and click game, with a good story line. However, the 'twist' that comes is not very exciting when it happens. The game is short and I feel it would have made a better game if it was longer, giving more time to develop the characters and the story. I was disappointed in the game but only because I hadn't realised I'd complete it in less than an hour. If you go into it knowing that it's short, and that the puzzles are linear rather than complex, then you'll enjoy it for what it is. I recommend getting it on offer when you need a 'between games' option that will keep you busy for a while so you can download the next game.
Very short (2 hours playtime) Puzzles quite easy. Characters rather shallow. Average story. Nice graphics. Cozy experience overall. Worth it when its on sale.
A very short and enjoyable adventure game.
