Into the Radius 2

my review of into the radius 1 and 2. 1 is more felt more environment and atmosphere based progression is a little difficult at times but in the end very worth it, the options for fire arms are spot on for the vibe its going for and delivers well fantastic game 8.9/10 as for number 2 its more story guns and combat based, the new mechanics where interesting to learn to say the least the gun customization is significantly better than 1 ,now as for the enemies there a bit over the top and the shard type enemies are buggy in there path finding but still fun to kill there is less maps to explore but there's a lot more in them and lots more 9/10. now for the negative part. the performance for number 1 by default is mid at best it stutters a lot and is annoying to deal with. you can fix this by typing -force-vulkan in the steam launch options. you will need to restart your game sometimes. now as for 2 the performance is significantly worse than 1 using dx11 or vulkan rendering is required for it to be playable. overall score id give these 2 games is a 9.9/10 experience and is worth playing to completion (edited)Tuesday, July 21, 2026 8:05 AM

I was originally going to write a review for this game when I was about halfway through, and then thought "Eh well I should finish it JUST in case." and to be honest my thoughts really haven't changed all that much. Even though I played this through WiVRn which is FOR SURE not how this is meant to be played in the slightest (Game kept crashing while loading areas, maybe just a linux issue or just a WiVRn issue, regardless NOT THE GAME'S FAULT), I had a really good time. Amazing gameplay Alright story (endings bring it back though.) Beautiful environments and set pieces. 6/7 (not for the funny joke I just thought it was real good but not life altering.)

Yet again, due to unknown issues, the game has become unplayable for me again. In the early access, it just wouldnt even send from my pc to the headset. NO fix that was supposedly the go to fixed the issue. With main release, it started working again. Played for a few extra hours, and now all of a sudden theres an utterly migraine inducing amount of weird artificing that happens only inside the headset. Its like the frames are vibrating on top of each other. Its not screen tearing, i know what that looks like. It is physically painful to look at. Ive confirmed its an issue with ITR2, ITR1 does not do this nor does any other vr game I have. The quality that the game has received in terms of performance is simply the reason I can not recommended the game anymore. Even if I were able to fix my seemingly unique issue, I will not change my review until the Dev puts some major time into the performance issues this game keeps seemingly acquiring from no where.

Team Four Star Perfect Cell: "Oh that's that Good ****!"

Coming from a veteran of the first game, I tried it a while ago and thought it needed polish. Now that there's been a bunch of new updates, this is a true anomaly survivor sim. Needing to properly gear out completely manually for missions and using only in-universe navigation and equipment planning, plus a full in-game shop instead of a menu, this is so much better of an experience. Definitely worth jumping into blind.
