Texas, 1980. Walton City has fallen to a zombie outbreak. Lead a band of desperate survivors from refuge to refuge by scavenging, crafting, and fighting in a relentless struggle for survival. Plan wisely, stick together, and — above all — keep moving if you want to make it out alive.

this war of mine with zombies. noice!
Still in early access but a great game nonetheless. It's got 4 different endings, with more to come. Survivor personal missions, customizable difficulty and a lot of replayability.
Already a masterpiece. Incredible sound and graphic design. The 80s in a small texas town is such a great setting for a zombie game. You can tell a lot of care went into every detail of this game. Couple things that are minor nitpicks 1) normal mode is insanely difficult 2) I can't figure out yet if loot is randomized, but hope so for the sake of replayability. Overall its a damn near perfect game in the genre.
I really love Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days—the visual style, atmosphere, and overall gameplay are exactly my kind of thing. I’ve been enjoying it a lot, and there are a few additions I’d love to see in the future. Would you consider adding an endless survival mode? A separate mode where you can keep playing without having to escape or reach an ending, with resources gradually replenishing so long-term survival remains possible. I’d love to keep scavenging, developing my shelter, and looking after my survivors for as long as I can keep them alive. More maps and scavenging locations, along with a wider variety of characters, appearances, and trait combinations, would make that even more enjoyable. Having more places to explore and different survivors to build a group around would help each playthrough feel fresh. I’d also love a way for survivors to gradually overcome certain negative traits through experience, improved relationships, or good living conditions. For example, if a character gets stressed or demoralized when the group has more than three people, it would be great if they could slowly learn to feel comfortable around the others as trust develops. It shouldn’t be instant or easy, and not every negative trait needs to disappear, but being able to work through some of them would make character development feel much more meaningful. The game already has a fantastic foundation. I’d just love the option to settle in for a longer survival experience and watch my group grow and adapt over time, without an ending cutting that journey short.
I haven't finished the entire game yet but honestly it's a lot of fun. but beware you can indeed blow yourself up if you throw the pipe bomb too close while the zombie is running at you lol :-D this game requires patients but its a lot of fun.
