Love it
Good MO2-like game with intuitive UI\UX.
Absolute must play for any 4Xer who loves clarity in game systems. Game has a number of mechanics, but all are clearly explained...tool tips are wonderful. And for you number nerd min maxers like me, you'll fine the exact, and I mean exact impact of all techs upgrades buffs etc - the derivation of all the tech, production, poplution values are illustrated nicely with tooltips. I love the graphics as well, as the map clearly shows the important game elements...what an idea, right? Very highly recommended, what are you waiting for?

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Feels a lot like Master of Orion 2. The UI could use some optimization, but the game is okay. It's not as flashy as some space 4x games, but it's good enough for strategy work.
great
Nice game
👍 Recommended 🚀 "I'll end this turn and go to bed." ...37 turns later, it's somehow 3 AM. 🌌 Interstellar Space: Genesis is proof that you don't need flashy graphics to create an addictive 4X strategy game. If you enjoy building an empire, researching ridiculous technology, and accidentally starting a galactic war over one tiny planet... welcome home. Pros: 🌌 Classic 4X gameplay that scratches the "one more turn" itch. 🛸 Ship designer is surprisingly fun. 🧪 Plenty of tech to research and experiment with. 👽 Every faction feels different enough to keep new campaigns fresh. 🎵 Relaxing soundtrack... until your peaceful neighbors declare war. Cons: 📚 The learning curve can be a bit steep. ⌛ Mid-to-late game turns can get long. 🤯 You'll spend 20 minutes designing the "perfect" ship... only for it to explode in its first battle. Things I learned: 🛰️ "Unclaimed system" really means "everyone wants it." 💰 My economy is either booming or one bad decision from bankruptcy. 🤝 Alliances last exactly until someone finds a richer planet. 😅 I wasn't expanding too fast... my neighbors were just expanding too slowly. If you miss the classic Master of Orion style of strategy games, this is an easy recommendation. It's deep without feeling overwhelming forever, rewarding for players who enjoy planning ahead, and dangerously addictive once your empire starts growing. 🏆 9/10. Started as a peaceful explorer. Ended as the reason the galaxy needs a history book. 🚀😂
My first contact with a 4X space exploration game was Master of Orion (2015). Despite its problems, it managed to hook me and I constantly found myself unable to stop playing "just one more turn". Later Stellaris was released, which I consider one of the top games in the genre, and for a long time I divided my time between those two games. One evening after playing Stellaris I decided to try Interstellar Space: Genesis. After about an hour I thought it wasn’t for me and uninstalled it. However, about six months later, when I felt like playing a 4X space game again, I gave it another chance — and this time I got completely hooked. Now I divide my time between all three games. Some of the things I really love in ISG are the long-range exploration with telescopes, the science exploration tree, and the culture trees that make every game feel different from the previous one. I also enjoy the scanner mechanics and the use of parsec distances. The tactical combat is probably the highlight of the game, giving you the freedom to fight truly epic battles. At the moment this is my favorite 4X game, and I’m looking forward to new content and updates in the future.
