INK INSIDE is a cozy & chaotic story-driven action RPG from ex-Cartoon Network (+ horror) devs! A unique indie cartoon + RPG adventure with beat-em-up & ball combat, laughably weird items, crazy deep lore, live action cutscenes, handmade assets, human orchestrated soundtrack, and heart.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
INK INSIDE is a hand drawn adventure with the heart of an indie cartoon!
Play as Stick, an unfinished doodle trapped in a box of notebooks beneath a slowly leaking ceiling. As the water seeps into the notebooks, it warps the land around them and turns once friendly doodles into mindless, soggy monsters. Uncover lost memories and save your friends by battling back the waves of wetness corrupting the world
Reveal Stick’s Genetic Memory or Gene Meme - the memory each doodle shares with their creator, Hannah. Explore the worlds between the sketchbooks to unlock memories and meet a vibrant cast of characters who are fully voiced and animated. Featuring voices by Brian David Gilbert of YouTube & Dropout fame, and Deneen Melody from Evangelion and Netflix’s Romantic Killer.
Meet and recruit a colorful team of characters to help you on your journey. From the dependable Detective Fuzz to Traff, the Princess of Cursing who hits like a truck and talks like a truck driver. Unravel each character's story to fill in the blanks of your own history, delve into poignant live-action cut scenes, and discover the Genetic Memory that led to their creation.
Battle enemies in action-packed dodgeball-meets-beat-em-up style combat that will see you dodging patterns of projectiles and chaining combos to escape a mushy fate. Collect new gear, unlock stronger abilities and fill your COOL MOVES bar to BREAK THE RULES and deal extra damage by smashing through the invisible wall protecting your enemies.

This is the kind of game that, once you start it, at some point, you'll be awake all night thinking about how it will end. (imo the best way possible no spoilers) The story is somewhat of a slow burn compared to the bigger amount of content in the game, and there’s a few things that aren’t answered - which will keep you up at night - but in a good way imo. Overall, the story provides a very realistic depiction of family and where inspiration comes from and reads like a modern fable. This game will draw you in make you laugh, confuse you, punch your heart, and then make you laugh harder. Best played with your friends or kids. “Don't forget - there’s nothing wrong with asking for help.”

This game is just AMAZING. It has amazing art, absolutely lovable characters, cool game concept, interesting and lived-in world building and tackles to question "What small things can inspire us?" This game scratch my brain in the perfect way
Fun game with some unique mechanics and plenty of comedy.
I played this game lasts year, and despite playing other bigger games like Expedition 33 I CANNOT stop thinking about INK INSIDE. It's just a completely unique combination of things that grows on you the more you play it. The story, the characters, the gameplay. All really fun and more memorable than almost anything else I played in 2025 (at least for me). The game is incredibly deceptive (in a good way) in that what appears to be cute and simple on the surface, is actually deep and just gets deeper the more you play. S+ mode is going to be perfect to show off how deep the mechanics in this game can get, and I can't wait to be one of the first to beat it simply because I know how to block / dodge first for buffs before attacking >:)
A whimsical little game with a touch of psychological horror. Marketed as a Coop game but I feel like with our short time of gameplay it could have used well... more gameplay. We spent most of the 30 minutes talking to npcs who while their terrible audio quality was kind of funny became a bit much after 20 minutes of talking and like 2 combat encounters. We probably should have read the tutorials but the combat was a bit confusing, again that's probably on us. Overall the theme was really interesting with everything being doodles, allowing characters to be diverse in style and design. The story was mysterious with the live action footage strung throughout. So our major issue was having to read through dialogue in a coop game where we just wanted to put balls on peoples faces. I recommend this game if you and your friend like balls... each others balls...
