Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition

I finally decided to play this game and ended up finishing the entire story in a single playthrough because I just couldn't stop. The story is genuinely one of the best parts of the game. It keeps you hooked from beginning to end and the way everything unfolds makes every chapter worth playing. The combat is still really fun, especially considering when the game came out. Every fight feels satisfying and the character roster is great. Batman easily became my favorite character throughout the story. He absolutely steals the show. The presentation, cutscenes, and overall pacing make it feel more like you're playing through an interactive DC movie than just another fighting game. NetherRealm really cooked with this one. If you're a DC fan or even just looking for a fun story driven fighting game, I highly recommend giving it a try. It still holds up surprisingly well.
