About
A short relaxing incremental game about fishing across diverse ocean biomes and upgrading your ship.
Hi there,
This is my very first game on Steam. I built it working on it every day solo.
Making games has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I don’t have a big team or a big budget - just a strong desire to create worlds and stories that make people feel something.
This project is my first real step toward that dream - the path that I hope one day will lead me to create games inspired by titles like Frostpunk, IXION, Don’t Starve, Valiant Hearts, and It Takes Two.
If you decide to try it, thank you - truly.
Your support means more than you know. And so does your honest feedback.
Wishing you warmth, good adventures, and something that makes you smile today.

Reviews
neat
I would recommend this game if you're a fan of the genre. Polished, rewarding and meaningful upgrades that feel satisfying. Only problem is the frame drop later on and my GPU's fans were working so hard during the game which leads me to believe there might be optimization issues because this game's graphics are very simple.
我要钓更多的鱼! 黑洞游戏的钓鱼版。 背景其实可以增加一些元素,美化一下。 玩法上没什么大的问题。 有成就,有中文。

中规中矩的增量游戏,中后期玩得很爽。
Incremental Fishing takes the familiar satisfaction of incremental progression and gives it a simple nautical identity, building an experience around catching fish, improving your capabilities, and gradually becoming more efficient. Developed and published by SwimDog Studio, it is deliberately modest in scale and presents itself as an accessible game rather than an elaborate fishing simulation. The appeal comes from seeing seemingly small actions accumulate into meaningful progress, making it particularly suitable for players who enjoy relaxed games where improvement is constant and easy to understand. The basic gameplay cycle is straightforward. Fishing produces resources, those resources contribute toward upgrades, and the upgrades allow subsequent fishing activities to become increasingly productive. It is a familiar formula, but the fishing theme gives the cycle a pleasant sense of purpose. Instead of dealing exclusively with abstract numbers and menus, progression is connected to a boat, the ocean, and the continued pursuit of larger rewards. There is very little pressure to master complicated controls, making the experience easy to approach even for players who have limited familiarity with incremental games. Ship development provides much of the motivation to continue playing. Upgrades gradually improve what the player can accomplish and create the satisfying sensation that earlier limitations are being overcome. This is important because an incremental game lives or dies according to how effectively it communicates improvement. Here, advancement is understandable without requiring lengthy explanations or complicated spreadsheets. The player can quickly recognize why gathering additional resources is useful and what the next improvement can contribute to the overall operation. Different ocean biomes help give the journey more variety. Rather than restricting the entire experience to an unchanging environment, progression involves moving through distinct areas and continuing the fishing adventure elsewhere. The visual presentation favors a colorful and minimalist style, combining simple 2D and 3D elements without pursuing realism. This fits the casual nature of the game well. The presentation remains readable and cheerful, allowing the progression systems to stay at the center of the experience rather than competing with excessive visual detail. There are also light management and economic elements behind the fishing. Resources have value because they ultimately feed back into continued development, encouraging the player to think about progression and efficiency. These mechanics should not be mistaken for a detailed business simulator, however. The management side remains approachable and exists primarily to strengthen the incremental loop. Players who love optimization can think about how quickly they are advancing, while more casual players can simply enjoy fishing and purchasing improvements as resources become available. Its deliberately short scope is simultaneously one of its strengths and potential weaknesses. Players expecting a huge idle game with countless prestige layers, enormous technology trees, complicated automation, and hundreds of hours of progression may find the experience limited. Incremental Fishing instead appears designed around delivering its core concept without unnecessary padding. This can make progression feel more immediate, although dedicated incremental enthusiasts may eventually wish there were additional systems to explore once they have understood the primary gameplay cycle. Achievement hunters have extra objectives to pursue through the game's collection of Steam achievements. These milestones complement the incremental structure because repeated fishing and progression naturally contribute toward completion goals. Steam Cloud support is another practical addition, particularly for players who use multiple devices. Family Sharing support further adds convenience, while the availability of a demo makes it possible to experience the basic concept before deciding whether the full progression loop is appealing. Steam Deck compatibility is less definitive than it is for games carrying an official Verified or Playable designation. The game does not appear to have a clearly established official Steam Deck compatibility rating, so it is best regarded as having an unconfirmed or unknown Deck status rather than being described as officially Verified. Its relatively simple design and modest presentation may make portable play seem like a natural fit, but players specifically purchasing it for Steam Deck should not interpret that as a guarantee of flawless controls, interface scaling, performance, or complete functionality. As a solo-developed first Steam project, the game benefits from keeping its ambitions concentrated. There is a clear understanding of what the experience is supposed to provide: fish, gather resources, improve the ship, explore additional waters, and enjoy the accelerating progression. It does not need an elaborate narrative or realistic fishing physics to accomplish that objective. The simplicity actually contributes to its relaxing character, although players who demand substantial mechanical complexity are unlikely to find enough depth here. Incremental Fishing ultimately works best for players who appreciate compact incremental games and the satisfaction of steadily improving an initially modest operation. The fishing theme gives its progression loop personality, while ship upgrades, resource management, ocean exploration, achievements, and increasing efficiency provide reasons to continue. Its biggest limitation is also fundamental to its design: this is a relatively small experience rather than an expansive simulation. Accepting that scope makes it easier to appreciate the game as a focused and pleasantly addictive progression exercise. It is an appealing little incremental adventure that understands the pleasure of turning repetitive actions into visible progress. More long-term depth could broaden its appeal, but its approachable mechanics, relaxing fishing theme, steady upgrades, and concise structure make it a promising casual experience for fans of progression-driven games. Rating: 8/10
我能在河边钓上一整天的🐟,传奇钓鱼王出动,游戏是好玩的,感觉越玩到后面越爽,这就是增量么
很不错,小窗口也正得很好,增量游戏就是中后期很解压。
i love this game and would love to see more added def worth the 5$ i would like to see a new world and new fish, also upgrades to the boat would be fire like in world 2 only can catch a certain amount of fish and gotta upgrade it. Anyways love this game 10/10
